That depends with what code you want to paste.  Some code should be in the  like meta description others need to be in the  but to be honest, i have been using  CMSes so long that i am forgetting my html

Mostly you paste it where you want the html code to appear. Placement is on the page. Lets say you want it under a page title, you then click under the page title and paste it there......if you want it in the footer...you paste it in the footer ect... I hope this helps.

play around with the H1 and P tags in the following link...

    http://www.w3schools.com/html/tryit.asp … html_intro

change values and click the "edit and click me" button.

    instead of

    P (paragraph)
BR (break line - goes to next line)
    B - bold writing
    U - i think for underline
    I - italics

    H1 - heading size 1
    H2 - heading size 2
    H3 - heading size 3
    etc

more info on html - http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp

You may want to check out my hub called "How to use a TRACKER - for beginners (with diagrams)"

You can find it here: http://timespiral.hubpages.com/hub/How- … h-diagrams

I specifically talks about the HTML used to insert links.

This tutorial, "How to write a good, effective Craigslist ad. An in-depth tutorial for beginners" talks about H1 (Headline) tags specifically.
