   Ayurvedic treatments are known to cure Neuropathy.  Peripheral neuropathy occurs due to repeated actions by foot or hands. The herb Indian Madder(Manjishta) can relieve pains and improve the functions of nervous system. Applying castor oil in the affected parts also is considered to be effective.
   
   Diabetese also is a major cause for neuropathy. Blood-sugar lowering herbs Boerhavia Diffusa and Gymnema sylvestre also can help. Healthy foods, regular exercise, meditation, Yoga can alleviate the symptoms of neuropathy.  Consulting an Ayurvedic physician can recommend the best treatments needed to cure this disease.

   From my experience, the answer is no.  The doctors that I have seen and continue to see, say that all they can do is help manage the pains.  I deal with the pains on a daily basis, that's all I can do.  Manage the pain as best as I can.  Medication is on a trial and error system; while the rest is up to me.
   
   I have tried ionizing, acupuncture, meditation, diet control, and a variety of different exercises.  Alone, none of these methods helped.  Medication (to me) is not the answer, but it seems to help.  When i miss taking them, I do notice a difference.
   
   The one things that helps me every day; is knowing that there are things in this world that I can enjoy, regardless of the amount of pain I am in.  I hope this helps you.

   I was very curious to read the answers to this question. I recently went to a neurologist for pain in my hands. During my appointment the doctor ran a few simple tests and he was not exactly happy with my results. My reflexes in my knees were practically nonexistent and I had loss of sensation in my right foot. I need to go back for more testing and hopefully more answers. I look forward to reading mores answers. Thank you for posting this question and thanks to all who answer.

   Neuropathy can be resolved, but you must find out the reason for the neuropathy.  Treatment will be very different for someone who has neuropathy due to a herniated disc versus someone who has neuropathy induced by diabetes. 
   
   Its really about finding the treatment which works best for you.  In my personal experience, I find that acupuncture and chiropractic medicine do work well for neuropathy.  However, it is very difficult to regenerate damaged nervous tissue and there is always a chance that these treatments may not help.  I give a 50% chance that acupuncture and chiropractic will either help or a 50% chance that no change will occur.  But both acupuncture and chiropractic care are worth exploring as a possible solution to neuropathic pain.
