    What are the most popular PC games among women?

    Are there certain pc games that women specifically enjoy playing, what are they and why the preference?

    My Wife seem to like game like the sim and hidden chronicle a lot.
    She a big sim fan since she was a teen.
    From the some study, it seem that women are the primary user of social games compare to other games genre.
    They probably enjoy social aspect of it more than there male counterpart.
    There a interesting answer on Quora about what are the primary demographics in social game and it point out that there more women than men playing these game.

    "Two-thirds of all qualified survey respondents are U.S.-based.  55% of all social gamers are female and 45% are male — with the  disparity being even larger among UK consumers (58% vs. 42%)."

    My girlfriend loves the Sims, along with Seek and finds, puzzle games, Age of Empires, Dungeon Siege, The Elder Scrolls Games, Hell Gate London, Hero's of might and Magic, Neverwinter Nights, Prince of Persia, and Titans Quest. She is a hardcore gamer though. She has been playing and testing games since she was a child.

    She played Lord of the Rings Online for a while with me. It all just depends on what the female is into.

    The Sims is a fun game but I would recommend World of Warcraft.  I play with my husband and it is a lot of fun and you get to me people from all over the world on it.  The quest are fun and i really enjoy playing after a long day.

    I met my girlfriend on World of Warcraft, and I've heard many females are into MMORPGs of that calibre. Plus, she plays a few sim-games every now and then. As for console, most of my female friends play Guitar Hero and Legend of Zelda. ^^

    I don't know about other women, but I'm addicted to The Sims, Skyrim, and Civilization V on PC. (Halo on Xbox.)

    I like the Sims, Rocksmith, and basically every game from Nintendo 64.
