   How long after you delete a hub can you post the same on another site?
   
   To avoid it being tagged as duplicate by Google.

   In Law ... What you write, is your "Property" ... any time ... anywhere !
   "Morally" ... you should inform the Hub pages about your intention ... Tell the Pages about the other Site and the Time of 're-posting" a Hub-Publication ...elsewhere.
   This is a good gesture, because the Pages, providing you with a "space" to write on the Internet ... have the Right to be informed so that they stop paying you ... from the point of such Intimation ...

   Probably the safest time to do so is to wait until it's no longer indexed by Google.
   Basically, you copy a portion of text from that hub into your clipboard and paste it into Google search. If it doesn't find your hub, then that means it's no longer indexed.
   
   But, that's if you REALLY want to play it safe. Most people think that it's fine to repost the same article almost immediately after you delete the original. From Google's point of view it's unlikely to be seen as the same because many other things are different too such as the software and the links to and from the page.

   I do it immediately. There's too much on my blog already for Google to see that as a scraper blog. There's already a lot of duplicate content on the web that isn't shadey:Look at Tumblr. Google is just more interested in finding the source.

   What I have done is wait 30 days. But the indexing on Google is the real key. As a courtesy to HubPages and fellow Hubbers we want to be upfront and honest and if duplicate content is found by the search engines, I would think it would hurt our page rank overall.
   
   I wish there was a way to force the "un-indexing" of the article to make sure it is clear.

   After the hub is de-indexed by Google I'd republish on any other site. Normally the de-indexing takes time, but can be forced via Webmaster tools.
   
   To force the de-indexing:
   
   1) Add the site or sub-domain in this case to the webmaster tools, if you haven't.
   
   2) Click manage site in the dashboard.
   
   3) Click Site Configuration.
   
   4) Crawler Access.
   
   5) Remove URLs ------ Create a new removal request
   
   6) Enter the URL and make sure you select in reason as "Remove Page From Search Results and Cache".
   
   These steps forces the de-indexing which takes a day or two. After that you can republish.
