   What is your best remedy for dry and itchy feet?
   
   A constant fight to keep feet hydrated.  Going barefoot does not help I am sure, but what can be done to get ride of cracked and dry heels?

   My husband had the same issue. He bought an over the counter medication called Lasmisil Continous Spray. The spray is sold in Walgreens . Thanks for reading my hub.

   Try Aloe Socks- wear them to bed and your feet will feel soft and moisturized in the morning-- it will help with dry and cracked heels as well.

      Hi harmony55, I know of this method...though I have not tried it.  I cannot stand anything on my feet day or night, probably why my feet are dry.  Wondering how long you need to do it or if you have to do it indefinately?  May be worth a try.

   Soak feet in an epsom salt foot bath. Add 1/2 cup of epsoms to warm water. Soak for about a half hour. Dry feet thoroughly. Apply coconut oil, while skin is still warm. By stating itchy, might be a fungus infection. I have written an article on natural remidies for fungus infection. http://artist101.hubpages.com/hub/Ibs-I … Treatments Specifically, Olive Leaf Extract for fungus infection. A Natural nutrient that helps to heal skin, is vitamin E. It can be purchased as a capsule, punch a small hole in the capsule, with a straight pin, squeeze out contents and apply to dry areas. You may also take as a supplement, no more than 400IU a day. As it is a blood thinner, and should not be combined with other blood thinners, such as warfarin, or coumadin. I hope this helps.       Forgot to add stay hydrated. Drinking plenty of water daily helps with all signs of dehydration.

   Get someone to massage your feet with olive oil. Yesterday I walked along the beach at the edge of the ocean. After doing it my feet felt really good.

   Using some oils can be beneficial to dry feet. However, I have found that old fashioned remedies work the best. My mother, grandmother, and further back have all suggested to apply petroleum jelly to their dry feet at night, cover with cotton socks and sleep while the feet rejuvenate. If the owner of dry feet is walking around in a yard that is treated with chemicals, be aware that no amount of oils can fix the recurrent exposure to these synthetic chemicals on the skin.  Also be aware that dry skin on other areas of the body in addition to the feet might be a sign of conditions related to medicines, allergic reactions, or normal reaction of the body to fungal infections.  Using highly perfumed soaps and body wash can also be drying the the skin. "It is best to stick with simple solutions for simple problems," grandma always said.

   Bag Balm Udder Creme...really. It is a product made of lanolin and petrolium jelly that was designed to treat cow udders...works fantastic on dry, cracked skin.
