If a photo belongs to a writer
Can the same photo be used in 2 different articles on 2 different websites (but having the same topic) ?
If you own the copyright to the photo you can do what you like with it. Google doesn't identify photos as duplicate content.
From what I understand if it is your photo you can choose wherever you want to use it. I don't think this is copyright infringement.
Are you talking about using the same picture on the hub on different hubs? as long as they are free you can do what you want to....
Debbie, the same photo on 2 hubs on the same topic but on different websites and having different content.
Hi rajan, if it is your photo then you can use it wherever you like. If the photo belongs to someone else, you can also use it in two different articles/websites as long as you give the owner credit.
I often use the same photo on different hubs (esp medical hubs) and have been doing so for over 2 years. HP has never flagged a photo. The only thing they look for is duplicate content in your writing (verse, prose, sentences, etc.). Now that...I have plenty of experience with!
Because others have copied my content, I have been accused of duplicate content on my own original work because others have copied it into their hubs, websites and blogs and identified it as their own.
Photos - as long as they are YOURS or public domain, go for it!
If it is aowner ship image there should not be any problem
I would say yes, as long as you give the ownership details for the photo if you are not the photographer.
If you are the photographer then.. absolutely!

I have been doing a series on Astrology and going through one sign at a time. I was careful not to duplicate language though certain things needed repeating. I eliminate two important paragraphs..format is the same but the information totally different. I have done several that have...

Like some other contributors in this forum, I've also just had an article suspended for "duplication". This is an article on grammar rewritten from a small section of my own much longer article on EzineArticles. I modified just about every sentence, changed examples, added content, etc....

I wonder if any of the SEO experts could help me out with a query. I wrote a hub a while ago:http://hubpages.com/hub/Five-Best-iPhone-CasesAnd it has been getting pretty good search engine traffic until a few days ago when it seems to just disappear off the google rankings:As you can see, it was...

Recently (based partly on my own experience plus research) I published an article on how the "duplicate content" hysteria triggered by Google's Panda algorithm is adversely affecting good quality writing - see:Quality Articles Fall Victim to Google Panda and Anti-Duplication...
