What killed off TV Character would you save?

My choice would be Charlie from Lost.

I would have to say Lexie Grey from Grey's Anatomy. Her death was unexpected and I felt that her story line would have been a great header had the major cast members left the show.

I would have loved to see another go at Lexie and Mark.

I would save Wentworth Miller's character from Prison Break. I was so invested in the show for 4 years and to have his character die in the last episode made me so sad, I almost cried. After sacrificing everything for his brother and friends I wanted him to finally have the life he deserved, but it never happened.

All of Blake's 7 (UK children's space-drama TV series that ended horrifically in 1981, four days before Christmas).  I still bear the emotional wounds of watching them all die!

I use to watch Blake's 7 and loved it.  I was in complete shock when they killed off everyone in the last episode.  My favorite characters were Blake and Avon.  Wish I could find the series on dvd or something.

My answer strains the constraints of TV character since technically, he was killed off in the movie, but Wash from Firefly and a close second is Book from the same show. What the heck was Whedon thinking?

Keith Scott from One Tree Hill. His brother Dan Scott shot him in Season 3.

I think it would have been a totally different show had that changed!
