Is it worth the savings to bundle?
Bundling your cable, internet & land line phone services seem to be the way to go right now, but is it worth it when it goes down? You really have to rely on cell phone service at that point. I had kept my land line separate for years and only recently bundled. Now it seems that several times a week my land line or internet goes down, which I never had happen before. Although I'm saving about $40 a month I'm just not sure it's worth the hassle.
The bundle is not the problem. You should contact the company that is providing the service to find out what is going on. I had Fios, for about 2 years without a problem, but nothing but problems with comcast and cavalier phone. I have bundled again with Verizon, but not their FIOS cause it is not available in our area. My satellite constantly goes out with the first drop of rain. Can't wait to see what the snow will do. I have not had any phone or internet issues.
If you have straight Verizon, even Cavalier, the issue is that Verizon owns most phone lines, and other companies buy the rights to use them. The lines are very old, not being replaced because Verizon is putting in Fiberoptics which is the FIOS.
They came out today and replaced all the splitters. I've only had it for a little over a month and already I am sick of the problems.

How about you?An update caused by the posts I've seen so far. My bandwidth is unlimited, Verizon never even brought up...

Do you trust Verizon to be your phone service provider now?Now that it has come out Verizon has been tracking all customer phone records for the government, do you feel you can trust them? And do you see yourself as either 1.remaining a customer, or 2. signing up as a customer in the future?
