How is yolasite as a free websitehost?
Is is worthwile doing a free website on yolasite. Does yolasite have a good pagerank. I have already sites with weebly and they are doing fine but weebly limits me to only 2 free websites whereas yolasite allows me to have upto 5 free websites. Does anyone have a website on yolasite? If yes, how is the site doing?
I dont know whether yola is a that good. However I would really recommend that you establish your own website without these website builders.
For a number of reasons....
-Its cheaper
-And you can build a more successful website without having the .weebly ending which makes it look more established
-you wont get those generic templates that they offer
Wordpress is a great platform to do this with.
Hope this helped
(If you dont want to do this cant you create a new email and do it with weebly again?)
Thanks a lot nightnight. I prefer not to cheat on weebly by using a different identity, they have already offered me so much for free. I agree with you that a paid hosting makes ones site look more established. I'll try to learn how to use wordpress.
I actually liked Yola however eventually I ended up getting paid hosting. The builder that they use is very easy for the beginner and you end up with a nice looking website however the builder was not powerful enough for my needs.
I also found that you could not get ranked well using the free product.
I would recommend getting your own hosting through one of the larger well known companies.
Eventually my needs even out grew that and I now use reseller hosting and offer free hosting for a year for my clients that I build their site for or for those clients that I teach to build their own website.
Thanks a lot flash167. I think I'll definitely have to shift to a paid service sooner or later as you suggest. By the way, you seem to be expert in website building. Me, I need the drag and drop menus to be able to make my website. I have to learn.
Unfortunately drag and drop options usually create code bloat. If you are looking for an easy to use option without having to learn a lot of coding, I would recommend trying WordPress. WordPress is easy and there are lots of plug-ins.

I am considering creating a web site and would appreciate comments/suggestions. I am fairly new to this and the only web hosting/creation site that I know is godaddy.com but I am sure there must be more.
