Is there a chemical free way of removing yellow tones from bleached hair?
A DIY rinse or treatment to remove yellow tones from dyed hair.
Try washing your hair repeatedly with a Polytar shampoo until the color is removed.
What you are referring to is brassiness, when blonde hair starts looking more orange.
The safest way to get rid of that is to wash your hair with a blue or purple toned shampoo. There are many out there in the stores, I believe John Frieda makes one called Color Renew for blondes. There is also L'Oreal Brass Banisher.
Polytar shampoo is for people who suffer from psoriasis, it is expensive and it's not good for you to use excessively due to all the chemicals. It is not meant for removing brassiness from blonde hair.
Ok, thank you! I appreaciate your help!
I use 'directions' colour by La Riche, white toner. Its made for exactly that purpose and its not a harsh chemical treatment its just like a conditioner really. purple toned shampoos and conditioners do a similar thing and they're not harsh on the hair at all, though you have to use them regularly, say once a week maybe. I put a little of the directions colour mixed in with my regular conditioner so you can condition your hair at the same time as removing those yellowy tones.

Suggest a chemical free remedy for hair which are dry and bouncy. What could I use on dry, somewhat rough and bouncy hair to make them look silky, straight and smooth. It would be great if you suggest a home treatment.
