How are you supposed to manage 200+ hubs?
Is it ok to just manage half of them? I just feel like it might take more than I can do.
I have 120+ and it is already becoming a challenge! I wish I could be of more help but really... my head wants to implode half the time.
That is real friend and for that I thank you. Let us hope wise folk will guide us.
Are these hubs making money? I wonder, and at 200 hubs it sounds like a lot of work. I hope to get to l00. and make enough for the time:) they do say it can be done.
Great question, wish i could have helped with having that many hubs, not sure what that is like yet.
It's a challenge but I find that in terms of refreshing older content I like to use the 'changed' column in the stats info page. That way I can work through some of my older hubs and refresh them.
I also try to reserve one day a month at least (even if it's just a couple of hours) to spend some time working on backlinks.
Generally if a hub gets very little search engine traffic I'll google it and see whereabouts it is in google based on the title or similar word searches. If It's anywhere later than page 4 I'll leave it where it is in the hope that it will steadily gain prominence over time.
If the hub is on page 3 of google or higher I will check out the competition and see where I can potentially add a backlink or two to see if it will give the hub a little more promise. I'll also look at my material compared to the competition to see if I can add information to make it more unique for a viewer.
Thank you very much for those great tips. I see how they can help.
Your Google advice is really great but I would like to know how you are adding more backlinks. Any suggestions?
Thanks DrMark- backlinks are a challenge, facebook is good esp posting on company pages and groups, pin your photos to pintrest boards, social bookmarking are all options. But don't overdo it at any one time
I currently have 380+ hubs and manage them by checking them each morning to make sure that are still featured (not idle) and they all are. My traffic has been great until here of late. It has dropped to around a third of what I was getting. This has been going on for over a week. I think because I have written more poetry than anything lately.
Wow thank you for sharing that. Like your hubs, it is inspirational
I am impressed you have 380 plus all featured. Good job. This is very encouraging. I don't have this problem at all.
Manage my Hubs? I've never considered MANAGING my Hubs and never would. So far, 1450 plus and counting; what's to manage? I just set 'em and forget 'em, after rereading a fewe times (proofreading and maybe a final fine bit of polishing), respond to comments if any, and that's it.
To me, trying to "manage" Hubs would make as little sense as a world famous author trying to "manage" books that are already out there, whether they made the Best Sellers List or not. What's done is done, unless something lobbies for change, such as a commenter bringing up something that gives me an idea for a needed improvement.
I barely find time to WRITE, let alone MANAGE.

I ask a simple question: which hubbers are the best or have lifted you up to above what you can be.It is time to give a little praise. Perhaps I should start out with a few. Nope that would be wrong. These folks that just give me a boost, take time for a critical note. Send a special comment and...

Do you think that any of the hubs you have written are memorable? In other words, do you believe that once someone has read any of your hubs, does anyone remember any of your work? We read so many hubs daily (for the most part), and do we even remember them after we move on to read another hub...

Ok, here goes. I rarely get involved in the forums, I guess I am a little on the shy side. I have been here almost 2 years now and have published over 80 hubs. I have only had 2 ever unfeatured and have deleted those and a couple more that I thought just were not up to par. My...

Can you count the truly honorable men in your life on one hand? How many truly honorable men do you know of in your life, and what is your definition of honorable? Thank you for answering. Are there any honorable men left in this world?

Having been on HP now for more than four years while kinda' inactive for the last two I am looking more closely. I have cleaned up my portfolio from over 100 hubs with low views to now about 10. I had a lean of writing more for self than as a business venture seeking a niche. Now, I am looking more...
