I ask a simple question: which hubbers are the best or have lifted you up to above what you can be.
It is time to give a little praise. Perhaps I should start out with a few. Nope that would be wrong.
These folks that just give me a boost, take time for a critical note. Send a special comment and respond to each comment taking time to know their friend. I could start off but I would rather to hear all yours. And then have a finale with all mine.
It’s probably a good thing that I’ve only been here for a couple of months so my list is small and I shouldn’t be offending anyone… hopefully.
Epigramman - I’m sure the world is aware of epigramman but I couldn’t have this conversation without mentioning his name. He is inspirational in his writings and great at commenting back to comments made on his hub. He is also a promoter of other hubbers which absolutely amazes me. The first time I saw this I was so very impressed; as if to say that he appreciates his people and to please show them the same honor they have shown him by giving a moment to appreciate their work… what a guy! I also have to say that epigramman is great for visiting the hubs of others and each and every comment he has ever made has been pleasant and brought a smile or laugh to my face. He is the kind of person that makes you want to contribute more.
Billybuc – I will assume that most of the HP community is aware of billybuc. Everything that billybuc writes is well thought out and thorough and it is very much the kind of writing that is geared toward helping others. Billybucs hubs are inspirational and he is excellent at responding back to each individual comment. Billybuc is also great about stopping by the pages of other hubbers and offering his thumbs up and appreciation, which must be quite time consuming with such a large following. Billybuc’s comments are as inspirational as his hubs!
MichaelJohnMele – Perhaps not as well-known as the aforementioned, but MichaelJohnMele is a diamond in the rough. I was fortunate enough to cross his path through a hub and we struck up an honest friendship. MichaelJohnMele has helped me in areas around HP that I was otherwise lost in. He has been very supportive in visiting and commenting on my hubs and responds to the hubs in which I leave comments. He frequently promotes my hubs outside of HP, which is not expected but certainly appreciated and he always checks up on me.
Mr-veg- He has to be one of my biggest fans, commenting on almost every one of my hubs and will go back and forth with me until I stop and I hardly pay him back fairly. He is extremely supportive and it’s always a pleasure to see him. I could not make this list without mentioning him.
There are other people that I correspond with regularly here that I just think the world of. I have had some deep, passionate, heated, emotional etc., conversations with many others and many of which have helped, influenced or inspired me. No room!
Wow brother that is just so cool. I suppose we should just shut up and live it.. You make me double check and make sure I show my love for those folks. And for you.
I would like to say for the record that my initial response including thanking your for taking the time to ask such a question and promote the praising of other hubbers... I was sorry that I went over characters and it wasn't able to be posted. TY!
Thank you so very much for the kind words...I really appreciate it and I'm truly flattered. You're the best girl...and I wish you much success.
Aw gee thanks buddy... whatta ya mean "wish you much success"? Are you going somewhere? Are you dropping me? Is this goodbye?
I have several friends here that just give me a lift whenever they comment. I hate to start mentioning names because I will inevitably leave someone important out. So I will mention just a couple. First of all, you, Eric. You are always so encouraging and humble. Then there is Michael-milec. This fellow works so hard to communicate in English, which is not his first language. I have watched him develop his English language skills and look forward to his hubs when he begins to write. Becky Katz was one of the people who first read my fiction when I began writing it in August of 2012. She has been a faithful friend and encouragement to me since then. Btrbell, aka Randi, is another who is always there with an encouraging word and, I have enjoyed watching her grow in this business of online writing. I was involved in a 12 part short story for most of March and April. Rosemay and BlossomSB, aviannovice, Wayne Barret and heavenleigh are great supporters as well. See, I left someone out I'm sure. I know I shouldn't be hung up on comments, but it sure feels good when someone takes the time to speak up. I just want to say thanks to everyone who frequents my hubs. I've been pretty selfish for the past couple of months as I've focused on writing my short story. Also, I've begun a new stage of my vocational life as I am now on the road full time as a traveling hospital lab tech. I'm starting to get into more of a schedule now and look forward to reading more hubs. Great question, Eric.
Cam baby, you fill me. You delight me and fulfill me.
I got nothin to say accept love me do. your list is so awesome I will make sure I follow all.
I had no anticipation that I would find such a great response.
Eric, thanks for this. It's an honor to be selected for this by you. Keep asking the good questions and writing from your heart.
This is such a hard one to answer because there are so many but I will list a couple or so.
marcoujor (Maria), without fail she sees the good in everyone, is compassionate, wise and kind. She certainly lifts me up.
Seeker7 who is always supportive and always has the time for a chat and a laugh, If you ask her a health question she will go out of her way to find the answer for you. The amount of work and research that go into her hubs shows how dedicated she is. She is a wonderful supporter. And I just love her spooky hubs.
Vinaya Ghimire is an excellent writer and always ready to teach us the knowledge he has on products. The pride he has in his country just shines through each article that he shares with us. He is a staunch supporter, just this morning he commented on an older hub of mine just to let me know he was thinking of me. Said he couldn't find a new hub he hadn't read so was revisiting my old ones. An honourable and very nice person
billybuc who pushes us and encourages us to be better and do better than we do. Such an inspiration.
cam8510 who writes such lovely stories, you know the ones you can't put down until you finish it, and is such a good supporter.
There are so many more though that I could sit here all day and I sincerely hope my answer does not upset anyone left out, I love them all.
The hardcore truth telling of Joyus Crynoid and DonDWest is what brought me to HubPages. I have since been enticed to the depths of this literary ocean from the verses of bizarrett81 to reviews of obscure death metal bands in third world countries by SkySlave, from the history of old cars by Carolina muscle to painting tips from Robie Benve, from JoanCA who will save my life one day with her homeschooling hubs to TheBudness who has been with HubPages for 11 months, but only written 2 hubs which are both about the history of vampires; they’re both thoroughly researched and just brilliant. I discovered part 1 a couple of months ago and was sad to see that part two wasn’t available. I sent him a fan mail pleading for part two and within days he delivered. This list could go on and on.
I mean really, I’m all over the place, so many wonderful writers it’s no wonder I haven’t written anything in a while with so much great stuff to read. Here lately I’ve been floored by Lurana Brown of MrsBrownsParlour, an extraordinary writer. And then of course there’s you Sir. You da man, I feel you, mucha admiración! Great question.
I like it. Wow your answer makes my simple question look good.
I can't say the best, because there are so many great writers here on HP, but the most inspirational to me have been: billybuc, nell rose, hyphenbird, alastar packer, movie master, phdast7, epigramman, amy beckerer, sunshine625, daisy mariposa, blossomSB, vellur, faith reaper, vinaya ghimire, carol777, timetraveler2, beckykatz and there are more but I can't think of the names right now. These are all fine writers and write interesting and thoughtful hubs. I highly recommend that you read them.
This is a great list that I must visit each. Thank you
My choice would be Sparklea. She comments on almost all of my Hubs and has a strong spiritual sense. She sees the best in people, but it is not through rose-colored glasses, it is her own observation. She has the ability to offer a differing opinion without being offensive. She is just a good person.
What the Heck!? I was not "following" you. You just have good sense. I will now go learn from Sparklea.

PROBLEM: Whenever I write a hub on a controversial subject, a number of people create new, fake hub accounts solely for the purpose of posting negative comments and feedback on my hubs and/or threatening me anonymously. These new hubbers have 0 (zero) hubs and no other activity, and they are never...

Do you continue to read hubs of those you follow if they don't comment on your hubs? When you have limited time do you just comment on those who regularly comment on your hubs?

There are two newly discovered hubbers who have only posted raw translations by using online translating tool, what they did was merely copy and paste the results without doing any further modifications. From the comments they replied, you can tell they don't really understand much English. Even...

There seem to be many hubbers who have no published hubs and are still allowed to comment on other people's writing. While there are some hubbers who are simply new and asking questions before diving in, it seems that some people open accounts purely for the purposes of making comments, often nasty...

Why is it that some writers do not respond to individual comments on their hubs?I noticed this with some writers who have been on HP for two years or more. They will choose to respond directly to some comments and ignore the others. Doesn't it make you feel like not commenting on these writers...

Do you ever leave comments on hubs that you have not read in full?Once in a while I see comments on hubs that suggest that the writer did not take time or care to engage the writer by fully reading the hub before commenting. A lot of times a hub makes great reading but the sheer content of the hub...
