   Have you visited any marine national park / conservation area?
   
   As a new found interest in marine conservation areas, my family and I recently visited and posted a hub on Fathom Five National Marine Park in Ontario, Canada. I was wondering if you have visited any marine national park / conservation area? Is there one in your region, state, province? What are some features you liked about it?

   We only have one marine national park in my country Tubbataha's reef that I am aware off.  We are suppose to visit it this month but when we find out that the means of transportation on the island is a tricycle, we decided to postpone it to next year.
   
   Reason it will be hard to travel with a 8th month old baby with only tricycle as a means of transportation.

   In Mississippi,my family and I visited Ship Island off the coast on Gulfport. An old Civil War outpost that's deserted except for tourist who come only when the ferry runs. Very wild and pristine it was cut in two during Hurricane Camile in the 60's. It was also damaged in Hurricane Katrina.
   Jekyll Island Georgia has forest that are partially conserved and I've been there many times.Cumberland Island is deserted except the people who watch over it as well as several Georgia Barrier islands... better get to seeing them soon,Georgia is changing as far as conserving and not for the better.

   Went to Monterrey in California, and the zoo in Singapore. Also a park for rescued elephants in Ubud Taro, Bali. There is an Ocean Park in Manila,Philippines which is really nice. I also recently visited a conservation park for the tarsiers. As you can see, I am an animal lover and I love to frequent zoos:)

      Ah Tarsiers! I had almost forgot about those primates. I will definitely like to read more through your hubs.

   Yes I have visited a few including Taman Laut, Maluku Eastern Indonesia,  at the Spice Islands, home of the nutmeg:and several parks in the Seychelles, in the Indian ocean, East of Africa. Stunning places and some of the most spectacular sights I have seen on this planet.
