I would say Civilization IV. I could play that for hours!

I could never really get into the turn based games aside from Heroes of Might and Magic 3 which was pretty epic.

Grand Prix Legends. Still going strong after more than a decade.

Nice.  I never played a lot of racing games.  Does R.C. Pro-Am count?  I think that was my favorite before Mario Kart hehe.

No question it is Command and Conquer Red Alert 2.  I have played at least once a year for a decade.  It is fun, challenging and easily replayable since you always seem to find new things every time you play through again.  An excellent game that I think was the peak of its franchise.

Great choice.  I loved this game too, I thought C&C Generals: Zero Hour exp. was perhaps my favorite one.  I still remember LANing with the very first C&C.  chaining sandbags across the map and building tesla towers big_smile

Duke Nukem 3D. It's a great pick up and play game that I have been playing on and off for the last 17 years!

Probably Deus Ex. That game is pretty crazy. So many ways to approach the situations in the game. It's definitely a thinking man's action game. And maybe you've heard the saying, "Whenever you mention it, someone, somewhere, is reinstalling it..." ^^

Morrowind is also really high on my list.

I really enjoyed the setting and gameplay in Dues Ex: Human Revolution.   Never actually played the old ones.  Perhaps I should install it. smile
