   Is this a good idea...
   
   So I have an athletics blog that has over 100 posts with most over 600 words.  I know it would take quite a bit of time but since the blog doesn't get much attention I was thinking about transferring all of the original, and keyword targeted articles over to HubPages.
   
   Considering they are my own words and the site will be offline when I transfer the articles...is this a good idea?
   
   What might some of the problems be?  Do you think this will be a good way to gain exposure and create new revenue?

   You COULD do that, but here's another idea.  Why not try doing  do it the other way around first. 1. How about writing a short blurb on your blog about your sports articles on hubpages and linking to them here. You can also offer your other hub topics on your blog, even the political ones.  Why not?  Just have various categories in your archive.  When linking back here, just be sure you word your blog differently. A summary paragraph and then the link to read more if they want on your hub article is great I think because people don't like to read more than a paragraph on a blog most of the time anyway. 2. How about trying to "up" your readership to the blog?  You could enhance your blog by going to bubblews and writing little intro blurbs to your blog postings and linking back to your blog. Just think of it.  You could have content on bubblews linking to your paragraph in your blog which links to an article on hubpages.  Or just link to the other articles on your blog.  I did that with one of my hubpages articles.  I was sure to NOT to create the same content when referring to my hub article and I do get views on that summary on bubblews and then people read the article on hubpages. Do you tweet everytime you blog? I found that if I create a twitter name that reflects the topic of my product or blog, I get lots of followers.  I am leftpawedpuppy on one account and all kinds of pet stores and humane societies follow me which creates interest in my ebook "Lucky, the Left Pawed Puppy".  I'm also Billiehollywood so that during Academy Awards I can link to a game I created about Oscar winners. For my "perfect husband app" I tweet with afewgreatwords.  Why?  because that app is about things to say to your spouse and "theperfecthusband" was already taken. It's like the dendrites in our brain.  The more connections we are able to make, the more likely the synapses will charge - (or something like that).  I'm sure you'll get lots of great ideas.  I just know that as a writer, I keep wanting to fool around with the writing and really avoid all the ancillary marketing and focusing on what I already have.  I tend to be attracted by each new bright and shiny object and the stuff I have created never gets seen.  I'm trying though.  Best wishes, Billie

      I think what you have said makes a lot of sense and I appreciate your perspective.  The only thing that I'm thinking about is that my blog doesn't really have the power behind it (in terms of SEO) like HubPages has.

      I think SEO is becoming irrelevant if u have google ads.  Google picks up on the words inur blog. It's amazing-a bit scary. We've been on the web since 90s and had to hide metatags,on and on. Google content ads know EXACTLY what ur readers want/need
