Have you ever paid for adsense marketing for your hubs?

How does adsense marketing work when you want to purchase some advertisements for your hubs?

No, I have never paid for any marketing services to promote online content. I am unaware of marking services provided by adsense that require a payment (from the account owner).

Now I understand that you meant the online advertising service, Adwords. It is used by large corporations and small businesses alike to put ads on Internet search queries. From using Adwords, it can be effective, but could be costly and complicated.

I have been sent coupons but never tried it.  I have been curious as to how much the actual cost would be and if it would do anything.

They have sent out several coupons to me. That's why I was thinking about it, but I guess I was talking about Adwords.

That would be Adwards.  I never had to pay for using Adsense.

This question might need some clarification. Are you talking about AdSense or AdWords?

If you are talking about putting advertisements on your hub, you can do that at no cost, through Google AdSense.

If you are talking about putting advertisements on other websites that would link to your hubs, that would just be a waste of money. (this is Google AdWords)

The better idea would be to create your own blog or website, create some targeted pages with affiliate products where you get a good share for each sale, and then use Google AdWords to get traffic. Of course the best way is to just get organic traffic for free, Because AdWords can get expensive if you don't know what you are doing.

Thank you for this. I was talking about Adwords.

Ah, then yeah, I've never paid for ads to my hubpages, and it would be ineffective. If you are thinking about it, or have some free adwords credit, create a blog with some targeted products for sale.

No, there is no need in doing so here on Hubpages. Marketing such as Adwords are a service provided to large corp. all the way to small businesses.

No. I have never paid for any marketing for any of my hubs. I think that's already taken care of through the HubPages structure.
