Do you think anyone would be interested in a book about a woman who breaks free?
As in breaking free from her psychic addiction after getting her heart crushed? And finds peace and joy in trusting the Lord, but it was a long hard journey to that point. The addiction was bad but the freedom is far better.
Sounds interesting to me. There may also be some women out there who have experienced something similar yet still haven't found that peace and joy. Whether it's fiction or non-fiction, those women might find some help and inspiration from reading the story.
Thank you for your input. I appreciate it. I think I will build a story about a woman's struggle to know the future.
Absolutely. I think most women feel they have to break free of something, someone, a situation--whatever the case may be--and if she can find peace and trust in the Lord, so much the better. The fact that hers is a long, hard journey makes her success all that more interesting and meaningful.
Thank you for your input savvydating. I believe now is the time to get that story started. I'll start on it this weekend. There is no time like the present. I believe many are drawn to psychics for the desire to know more than they should.
I'm glad you're getting started. Frankly, the topic sounds fascinating!
Thank you! I will start this weekend even if its one page.
Yes. Truly speaking, a good writer can write on anything. He/she naturally chooses his/her niche but the strength of any book lies in good or excellent writing as much as the topic itself.
I would say that your topic is very interesting and should do well. Seek out a good publisher or ask billybuc on Hub pages for help.
Thank you so much for your input manatita44. My plan is to write it and then publish it as an ebook on Amazon just like Amanda Hocking did and then market it with a blog.
Cool. When you succeed let me know. I may need some tips.
I think it would make a good read. In my experience a writer should write from the heart. If you feel it would work then go for it.
Why not missmelissak? Even we the guys will love such a book! Just make the story unique and well blended with some suspense and creativity and you are good to go!
Do you intend self- publishing it? When you are done, just come back to this your question and say it, I think I will be interested. I was at first nervous when I was writing my own book and considering the fact poems aren't popular in ALL the article directories I have written for (Hubpages, wikinut, searchwarp, articledashboard and even ezinearticles), I was highly discouraged to even start because the Novel is garnished in poems and campus life. But Alas! I just re-edited it for its second edition and presently giving lectures about it here in Germany. "The Soul Talkers" by Funom Makama is the Book's title. So, make a very good architecture about the book and trust me, you will be fine!
Thank you so much for your encouragement. I think I will put this book together. I already wrote two chapters and I can add a dash of creativity and suspense to the story to make it more of a page turner!
Hi there it is about almost a year after most comments, so wondering how your book is coming along.
Also I have to add this is a very interesting topic. I would definitely read it especially since it's the first time I have heard of someone addicted to psychics.
Has any of it came true. I myself do not believe in them however I do believe in gifts and that some have that special gift.
The Lord will lead you to the right thing.
Blessings

If you wrote a book about your life, what would the title be?I am not sure what title I would choose for my life story. All I can think of for a title would be "Middle of the Middle". I am the middle child of seven and the middle of three sisters -- oh! I also am the middle of...

Christianity is one of the largest money makers in the world, but it's not really the church. It's the people selling their brain poison, trying to make a buck on the other sheople. Why do christians buy into it? Why do they think another christian has the answer? Why do they say it's divinely...

Why will no one read my book?I've written a fantasy book and want to publish it in October, but whenever I ask someone to read it they conveniently disappear or are suddenly too "busy" to read it! Even if I only send them the first chapter they never get round to reading it. ...

I've been studying Revelation for a couple years. I wonder if there is any hubbers who have studied this last book of the Bible. What insights and conclusions have you come to? I'm writing a series of hubs about what I've learned. Have any of you written some hubs about this, too? My searches...
