Using Celeb Twitter and Instagram photos for Blogs or Hubpages
I know I'v asked this question before, but am still uncertain. Does anyone know if we can use Twitter or Instagram photos of celebs that post images of themselves on our blogs or hub pages? I see People Mag and other reputable sites doing it all the time, and they do properly attribute the celeb. Does anyone know, or know how to find out?
Sure, I don't see why there would be an issue. I have Nelson Mandela on my FB page and have used other celebrities on my other social media sites. I think it's more media related when it becomes an issue with celebrities pictures. Like when Media/PR companies photoshop a famous persons image and use it for gain.
Thanks for the response jaylove41. So even if we use those photos for hubpages or our blog you agree that this okay? Thank you again!
Careermommy, there's nothing wrong with using a photo of a celebrity on any of your social media sites. Again, issues normally arise when the media alter photos of celebrities depicting them with a bigger nose or making them appear better looking.

Can we use Instagram photos on Hubpages or our blogs as long as we properly attribute them?I want to use some photos that celebs have posted on their Instagram or Twitter accounts. Can we use those photos on Hubpages or our blogs if we give them credit for them?

I've noticed people using photos of famous celebrities here and I know they didn't take them themselves. I have a hub I'm writing that I need some photos. Is this really allowable or is it some type of copyright infringement? If you can do it, at what site are you allowed to copy the photos?
