   The image of a masculine God is just a common interpretation of the Bible. There is nothing in the book that makes reference to God's gender.

   I'm not sure if this is right but most accounts claim angels are both sexes and are appealing to both women and men. This isn't a sure thing it's just a possibility.

   Angles do not have a gender. If you really ponder, do they even need a gender? They are a creation from God to serve Him and protect us. They do not reproduce either.
   Colossians 1:16 - "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him"
   Angels are not human; they are spirits that are not physical beings. In the Bible, angles do appear in the form of men, not women, only if God commands them to but they do not have human features such as feet and faces.

   Human beings are male or female because, in a sense, we are incomplete. Almighty God does not have a gender. With no intent to be disrespectful, God does not have genitalia. God is referred to as "He" for cultural reasons. The angels, as a creation of God, are whatever gender He chooses to make them for their role or assignment as messengers.
