What do you feel and react when your hub was Not Featured or low quality?

Often hubbers really hate when their hubs are disqualified. I would like to what you did when your hub was disqualified?

I update smile. I haven't had any rejected outright, but some old ones went to "not featured for quality," and some still go to "not featured for engagement." The only thing that makes sense to me, then, is to update it and try to fix the problems. That said, I've also been writing full-time since 2007 -- I never take editorial or moderator decisions personally, it's all business.

When we take that as business, its ok. but more than that hub pages act as a community. right?

Wychic is right on the money, don't take it personally, and make it better.  Criticism is often hard to swallow, but it is a necessary evil.   Just as she said, when my older hub scores start to slide, I update the content and maybe change some things around to improve the flow.  The hub score will almost always rise after these edits.

you are right about it. But imagine if a new hubber comes to hub pages and faces this. then?

To be honest, this happened to me only when I was new and didn't really understand how to write hubs on the web rather than essays and documentation. Of course I was annoyed when some of my first hubs were not featured due to quality, but I was determined and learnt by reading other hubs and also the excellent help available here.

Once I understood how it all worked and more importantly exactly what was expected of me I have never looked back or had a hub rejected because of quality.

It stings a little at first, but when you remember that it's a formula that controls these tags, it's easier to correct the problem. For example, a lot of my poor quality hubs are only flagged because I didn't put any pictures on them. It doesn't mean the writing was bad, it just means that I was missing one of the 'check marks' on a virtual assessment sheet.

sometimes my hubs are flagged for that reason. But by just adding some pictures, one cannot ensure the quality. right?

No, pictures are just one example of why it might have been flagged. Paragraph length, spell/grammar check, and word choice could also be effecting the assessment.

I go back and fix everything I messed up.
To be honest though, I haven't had it happen in a while.
