Do you like Daniel Craig's version of James Bond?

Personally, I think he is the best because he bring true emotional feelings to the role. I think it adds depth of character.

I don't think he truly "inhabited" the role until "Skyfall." I've enjoyed all three of his turns as 007 but he didn't finally "click" as Bond to me till that third film.

I felt that way until about half way through the second film. Before that point, he felt like an imposter.

Yes I think he is a good actor, the only thing I did not like was that he seems to be too serious for the role.

I guess it's a matter of personal taste. He may be a bit to serious for some people but "Bond" seems more like a real person than in previous incarnations.

So far I think he's done an excellent job in the role.
The scripts also have a lot to do with it. This Bond has less "tongue in cheek" moments of levity than previous Bonds.
It's a reflection our era today.
You see that in both action and super hero movies which have taken on a more serious and darker tone.
    (Dark Knight/Man of Steel/Captain America).
There will not be a remake of "Octopussy" or "Moonraker". If one goes back and looks at some of the previous Bond movies you'll see just how "camp" many of them were. It was often over the top!

I definitely agree with your "camp" comment! To me, the Roger Moore era Bond films are unwatchable for just this reason.

It takes time for a new Bond to incarnate into the role but I think Mr Craig just about fulfills the 007 character albeit with a bit of mumbling and an overly physical approach - but that's the modern way I guess.
I like his slightly pessimistic nature and darker side and his sarcasm - not too sure he's so much of a lady charmer but he can get the job done no problem!

I'm partial to Pierce Brosnan only because he's the Bond I grew up with. But I've enjoyed Daniel Craig's portrayal. Quantum of Solace was kind of boring, but both Casino Royale and Skyfall were great installments to the franchise.

I don't like it, but it has not much to do with his acting, but more how he is written.  In this version, James Bond is portray as this character with some anger management issue.  A good spy, should have very good emotional control capability, not somebody that probably need to get court order anger management session.  I like the Pierce Brokman version better.
