How do you feel when you see a poor guy begging us for some help?
Still there are a lot of countries which have a lot of poverty issues. This is not an emotional issue this is the economic issue regarding that country.
I feel grateful and I see how much the government f**** us
It's heartbreaking to see anyone struggling or suffering, especially children and the homeless. No one should ever go hungry or thirsty, or have to sleep outside in the cold or heat. No one should have to do without basic needs. Regardless of the circumstances that have led them there, I pray more people would realize it may have nothing to do at all with being lazy - this is an awful stereotype. But I wont go into that right now...
Everyone can afford to put in something to help one another. It doesn't have to be expensive. A drink, a meal, an article of clothing - something, anything, including donating your time. If only everyone who saw someone in need, would do something to help, in any kind of way... Those who have an abundance of wealth, even more so. At some point we have to stop making assumptions or laying blame and see how we can do something to decrease the statistics because whether or not you see it, poverty affects everyone...
The Lord's word is truth and says:
Hebrews 13:16 Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
Proverbs 19:17 Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.
Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”
Acts 20:35 In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
Deuteronomy 15:7-11 “If among you, one of your brothers should become poor, in any of your towns within your land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart or shut your hand against your poor brother, but you shall open your hand to him and lend him sufficient for his need, whatever it may be. Take care lest there be an unworthy thought in your heart and (...) your eye look grudgingly on your poor brother, and you give him nothing, and he cry to the Lord against you, and you be guilty of sin. You shall give to him freely, and your heart shall not be grudging when you give to him, because for this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you undertake. For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you, ‘You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.’
God bless
Looking someone begging makes me feel..
1) coming out of a person to street is a message that his own family members have deserted him.
2) people are not kind enough to fulfill the needs thats why one begs the whole day and all the days.
3) people are unmindful of the miseries and hardship of that person that is why in a society the well to do majority badly fails in containing the poverty of a small minority.
4) there is no effective mechanism in the society for chanalising the wealth of well to do people.
5) the respective government does not consider the abolition of beggary system should be there priority.( In some countries laws have been formulated which make begging a crime).
6) fulfilling the needs of deserving depends on the kind gesture of people, the kind gesture is the reflection of the Creator's love. The heart full of love strives to fulfill the needs.
7) the heart gets filled with the feelings of gratitude towards merciful Lord that He prevented us from becoming people of lower hands.
A lot of things go through my mind. First I am empathetic and sympathetic to them, we can all be in that position. Its a very sad, and a reflective moment that makes you feel pity/sadness for them but also makes you grateful for what you have.
Even so, the problem of poverty is greater than us, the individual (though every individual/action counts). This is both an emotional issue and an economic issue (its also it is a psychological or societal/national issue). Good honest people need to step up, and stop letting the greedy/dishonest people control things.

Is it possible to help poor people and keep our liberty?I'm sorry; I guess I'm confused again. I never thought these two things were mutually exclusive. Why aren't there more Marxist Libertarians or Conservative Liberals out there? I guess I want to eat my cake when I have it.
