    How to appreciate beauty?

    Nature is beautiful. When we come across a situation when a thing or a person is very beautiful. We try to appreciate beauty by kissing, hugging or praising that form of beauty but sometimes I feel that is not enough. So I was just curious to know what are the ways we can appreciate beauty and what to do when we feel that is not enough.. Thanks for your input.

    Beauty is much more than being physical or a physical attraction to an individual. Beauty comes from within. We see beauty everywhere and each person has their own idea of what beauty is. For some beauty is the mountains, ocean, or a sunset. For others, beauty comes from talents. Some individuals may not feel that what they have done to make something beautiful is enough because nobody shares their same thought process. Would it be enough if we all believed in ourselves a little more and tried a bit harder just to be ourselves? For something to truly be beautiful you have to have the confidence that it is beautiful

      I agree to your view Jackie that beauty has different forms but my question still remains how to appreciate it.

      I think that the easiest thing to do to appreciate beauty is to thank the person or thing for being so beautiful and to bask in how beautiful it is and enjoy every moment of it

    To recognize and understand. What a wonderful word is this appreciation. I had never thought of it before. I cannot fully give an answer but I can take from this great question. I will appreciate beauty more fully. Appreciate seems an answer in and of itself. I am a writer by trade and so for me, it is in writing that I show my appreciation for what is good and beautiful. Paul writes in Philippians 4:8 ""Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things""
    But I agree that thinking of them is not enough. So today I will simply write a poem and sneak up on my wife and tell her she is beautiful.
