Why do some red lights take longer to change to green than others?
Some are on a timer but some change more quickly if people press them, mostly the ones that aren't at a junction etc.
Oh interesting I thought they would all work the same.
I think the less busier the road is the quicker the lights change.
That seems like a good idea its just frustrating to be sitting at lights forever.
I find they take longer when I am in a hurry. Lol. This question made me think of something my philosophy professor used to say: " Everyone can tell you how many stop lights they caught, but no can remember how many green lights they made it through."
Very good point like the saying a watched pot never boils.
Good answer it could be just point of view.
It always take longer when the peak time, see those green lights allow four vehicles and then turn red
It's weird the mechanisms of the traffic light, I have learned more about.

Why do people take forever to take off when the light turns green while driving? Its a pet peeve and annoying... Slow reaction? Or, are they waiting for the red light runner?

My vision has blurred recently... Why do all the lights look like snowflakes?I've tried eye drops.... I can see about about a foot in front of me... the rest is blurry... Lights up close, and in the distance look like the snowflakes they hang on lamp posts during christmas time

I am pretty insulted. Sorry, but it had to be said. I had written an article on here that had done really well. In fact, it was one of my top earners. I went to answer a comment on it, and I stared at it for at least five minutes. I no longer recognised it! The photos had been changed, the writing...
