How can you get more comments on hubs?

I am trying my best to write quality hubs, I try writing on different subjects to attract a bigger audience, I read other people's hubs and leave comments and yet I barely get a few comments on my hubs. What am I doing wrong? What else do I need to do?

Hello Florypaula, the first thing you need to do is have patience. You certainly cannot get lots of traffic on your hubs within days, and if you're an active follower and commentator then I am sure you'll start getting comments real soon. Just keep up the hard work as it always pays back.

Thank you Syeda. I guess hard work is always the way to get recognition. It is a little difficult to be patient when you see many of the people you constantly visit don't return the favor. Maybe in time things will change.
      Have a nice day.

It looks like you may have answered your own question with your hub on Raising Teenagers.  I see you got four comments on that, in 2 days time, and you graciously responded to each comment.  It seems that you wrote something that touched people, and was practical for them,  You could be on your way to a high number of comments on that hub.  Keep on keeping on!

Thank you Danny. Maybe I am a bit impatient, but I see other hubs get a lot of comments daily and I am thinking that maybe this is the normal rate. But maybe the rate at which my hubs get comment is the normal rate. I am still quite new at this.

Try writing on hubs that people likes such as reading at other hubs. If you notice that hub has a lot of comments that is the hub that people are looking for.

People may also like to read hubs with a unique title or something that is different from our everyday lives, they will be keen to know what's there in the hub, even though then won't be needing it.

You are both right. Maybe I should try to see what works for me, try different style of title and see what works best. I am happy I've though of asking this question because I am receiving a lot of ideas.
Thank you both for taking the time to comment
