Does anybody actually make any real money on hub pages?!

I don't write purely for remuneration but it would be good to receive at least something for my efforts.I'm signed up to all the earnings programmes on hubpages but don't appear to be making anything other than a few cents each month! If anyone has any tips on how to increase earnings I'd be pleased to hear them although I feel I'm already doing everything I can regarding marketing strategies etc

Made very little here.   However, I am doing very well with my own sites.

Thanks. I just get despondent sometimes and think here I am sitting at the computer all day but why am I bothering when there's no money in it?

Stella, I left content farms in 2015.  I made sales from the first day, my sites went live.   My sales earnings this year have already passed the total sales first 6 months of my sites sales 2015. 2 articles about leaving content farms on Wizzley.

I earn what I call pizza money from Hubpages. It is enough to buy one to ten pizzas per month, not wealth, not nothing.

Thanks; well I suppose that can be described as 'putting bread on the table' just about!

Plenty of people are making money here. Maybe not the kind of money that could be made years ago though. One of my accounts makes payout regularly, while the other 2 pay me 2-3 times a year.
It takes a lot of work or a lot of skill, ideally a lot of both. However I think very few are making enough to pay the bills.
Not to sound rude at all I promise, but chances are anyone not making money of some kind here likely isn't doing something right. Keep learning, keep applying what you learn and eventually you will at least be making enough to treat yourself for a nice dinner. smile

Thanks for that I think I'm doing what I should be but I'm open to suggestions. I had nearly 700 articles on the helium site before it closed over a year ago and I'm currently re posting those articles on hub pages so it's a work in progress.

Maybe it says a lot that there used to be a page showing the success stories but now that appears to be gone...
