None of us here are in it for the money. If you want money, get a real job.

Trust me if money wasn't there most of us(including ME) either would have quit or wouldn't be as active as we are.

You would like to search and read a number of threads about making money, SEO etc as a proof to my statements.

In fairness, I couldn't detect even a hint of sarcasm there either..... but the internet can be a funny thing for dry humour, as it takes away your facial expressions, tone of voice, the wry smile, and the twinkle in your eye.....

you just have to be patient while you try to publicize your hubs. It doesn't mean that u've to go around and advertise. First try to get a good hub score, next, you write more articles, take part in some activities like asking questions and giving answers....

By the way, i've been here for only 6 days now. But the reason why i reply your question is, within these days, my score shot up from 0 to 8o.
I think this is good... i just have to waite some time for my earnings to show up. So i think u can waite while you write more informative hubs.

      Hope this helps.

Apparently this guy earns 1200-1400 dollars per month from his blogs so he'd be the best to explain how money is earned.

I have to say, this is the first time I've been in such a feisty forum!  It may have something to do with the fact that the poster indicated the (phenomenal) amount of money being made on their blogs, yet is unable to make a dime on HubPages.  This makes some people suspicious, because really and truly, much of the same techniques, strategies and tips can be applied here on HubPages.  The biggest difference is you get 100% of your Google earnings (at least you do at Blogger.com)

I also make much more money on my blogs than here at HubPages (NOWHERE NEAR $1400 A MONTH THOUGH!).  I use the same basic principals when it comes to keywords and properly monetizing my hubs.  But everyday is a learning process.  When I increase my EFFORTS, my earnings tend to go up.  If you truly get paid a great income on your blogs, you'd better start duplicating your efforts here on your hubs.
