What do you believe will be the end of the earth?

We like to believe that the end of the world is non-fiction, choosing to ignore the self-evident destruction us humans cause to our planet.
I want to know your opinions of how you think the earth will be destroyed, and why?
The current world is still growing, with India soon to out populate China, and I believe that science will be too slow to help the world from the food crisis, which will lead to civil, or world wars where we will all be fighting to the last man.

Watch Hans Rosling's Youtube videos on how the world is actually getting better, with birth rates levelling out and life expectancy rising, world income rising, etc.

I predict that a terra-forming attempt to cool off global warming with a volcanic winter by dropping a nuke down on the big island. Afterwards, the US would then take Puerto Rico as the 50th state so don't have to change the flag. And if you think I'm kidding google it. There are plans already, but they say they are going to make a 'fake volcano' whatever that means.

"Not even a mega-colossal eruption of this magnitude would stop global warming, though. The level of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere would not be affected by the volcanic eruption, and warming would resume where it left off once the stratospheric dust settled out in a decade."

Well science say the sun is continue to grow in size, as a result, also its gravity pull, eventually the earth would be pull in, that would definitly end the earth, but that won't happen till millions of years later. Chances are by that stage humans are either extinct or have also colonized many planets, so refugees can leave or chances are there will be technology to push the earth further away from the sun circling the sun at a faster speed, so, it won't be suck in.

Two biggest problems facing humans: Global climate change and threat of nuclear war. Both are growing concerns that Americans don't even seem to be aware of.

Ultimately, the sun will expand while at the same time its fuel willl be depleted. As its core grows and cools,  it will slowly gobble up the planets before them. Most likely, we'll be long gone by the time the sun's flames reach us within billions of years. And many more years until all that's left of the sun is a cold carbon ball.

In the meantime, we could be wiped out by a meteor strike or not be able to adapt to climate changes..Or another successive species will rise to our level of intelligence and cause our extinction. Or we blow ourselves up in a nuclear war, like  fools we are.
