    Have a Hyundai Santa Fe, 2012,recently developed a bad water leak inside, front passenger floor.

    The leak seems to be right up next to the door and more on the flat of the floor (rather than leaking down from under the dash area). Original factory windshield and sunroof.

    My car (Nissan Rogue) has a similar problem and the dealership had said the tubes that drain down from the roof or sunroof area were clogged/plugged.They apparently cleaned them out, but I still have that problem at times when it rains really hard. My husband thinks maybe there is something wrong w/the connections in the tubes, maybe they are not completely connected in there. So it could possibly be that, drain tubes are clogged, A/C drain tube hose, or windshield leak. Saw something else online about drain holes under cowl panel being clogged which could cause that too. Tech. online also said fuse panel or cars computer can be right in way of those leaks. Tech. online said it may or may not cause further problems.

      I'm going to try and isolate by using hose to soak in different areas (just soak sunroof, then cowl under windshield, etc.). I've seen the "drain tube"suggestion from a few folks. Just doesn't look like the easiest thing to troubleshoot.
