Is there a way to add a capsule to cite sources? Would be nice if it had the option of filling out fields to properly cite various sources, such as websites and books.
I have found the website, "easybib (dot) com" to be very helpful in this regard. I simply create a capsule titled "Resources," and within, I paste the citations as generated from that site.
It's a very simple, easy-to-use copy/paste process. One minor 'drawback,' is that the "APA" style HP wants, is only available in a for-pay "pro" edition. Otherwise, you get "MLA8" whatever that means.
I've not had any negative feedback from HP about my citations, so I don't think it's a big deal. I think their "APA" style requirement is really only for formatting the body text in our articles, anyway.
Best wishes.
Thanks! That was what I was thinking of. It would be cool if something like that existed inside of HP. Maybe not as extravagant, but a bit more streamlined.
I just add a text capsule. You can then add the sources you want and if they are web sites include hyperlinks.
You can check out my latest article on treating yeast infections to get an example of how I do it.
That's what I've been doing. What I'd like is something that is kind of set apart, almost like the call out capsule in a way. Smaller font, smaller header, and it would be nice with a shaded background. It would help differentiate the article from the list of sources. I've seen it on a lot of other sites and thought it would be nice if HP had something like that.

Hi All, I have been asked to add a table of contents to a very long article before it can be moved to a niche site. Does anyone know where the Table of Contents capsule that allows for maneuvering to specific areas of articles is located?I have searched through all the capsule options...

Does anyone have an article they can share that cites their sources at the end? I would like to look at one. (Preferably, one that is featured.) Thanks.

how do I add sources AFTER article is published? Seems I can't just use the edit button and add them.

I would love to see a citation feature that would build a source list for us much like you see on wikipedia. I want to be able to drop a source in as I write and have a bibliography and footnote notation appear. Right now I highlight text and use links or place a links capsule with...

How do I cite my sources for hubs I research?I would love to write some hubs that would require me to do a little bit of research. How do I go about citing my sources? In college I always used MLA style in-text citations and a works cited page. That doesn't seem like it would work...
