I just noticed tonight that Amazon capsules only show up when logged in. That means that organic traffic sees nothing except the title of the capsules.
This must have just started happening because I had several Amazon sales every day up until Sunday. Today (Monday) was not reported yet.
All of a sudden it’s working again. Must have been a temporary glitch.
Glenn are you on the HP Amazon program? If yes, check your regular amazon account to see if you got any sales. On Friday or Saturday I got a few sales with my HP tracking ID on Amazon (I signed up to the HP program over a year ago, so this is not normal). I first thought it was a sale from someone who copied my hub a long time ago and it happened to have my tracking ID, but after reading this, I think it could have been a glitch in the system. Amazon capsules could not be added here on HP for a few days too. Just a thought, it could have just been an old copied hub as I said.
Brandon, Yes, I have the HubPages Amazon Program since it pays more than my own (roughly 8% vs. 4%). But I still use my own Amazon affiliate account for other sales not related to HubPages, so I normally do have sales showing up there anyway.
I was aware of the problems some people were having with adding Amazon capsules. I saw that in the forums. But I wasn’t adding any during that time. I just noticed how it didn’t show anything expect the title. I almost missed that since I usually am logged on when looking at my hubs. But as you know, we have to log into the niche sites to work there. That’s when I noticed the ad missing before I logged in. I even checked it on my desktop and iPhone to see if it were the same results.
An hour after I posted this thread it was back to normal. Weird.
I just edit from the stats page Yes, I do use my amazon account too, this is why I noticed the HP referral. But I use different trackers to know which part of the page and which website the sale comes from. If you don't do this already, you could give it some thought.
Yes I do use trackers too. And I do edit from the stats page at times. I noticed it does an auto-logon when you do it that way. But sometimes if I'm already on the niche site and want to edit something, I just log in. No hassles either way.

This is a two-fold issue. I know we're in the middle of a Google Typhoon or whatever animal is wreaking havoc this month plus the summer traffic is, well, obviously somewhere else. In January/February of this year, my traffic was around 2000 views per day. Right now, I'm lucky if I crack 400. I'm...

Here's something for you guys to consider, and I am simply reiterating a comment I made on another post. You need organic traffic to your Hubs! Why? If you are using adsense, or any other monetization method on Hubpages, you will not, I repeat, you will NOT get credit for clicks on your ads from...

I have a question for those of you who use Amazon in your hubs. Let's say that you are writing a hub with a list of different products. Do you think it's better to put all the amazon stuff at the bottom of the hub, all in one place, or to spread the ads throughout the hub, with one ad per product?...

I am almost ready to publish a new article, and I want to add two Amazon Capsules. I know how to do it the old way. But I saw on lobobrandon and a few other's hubs a different way. There is just an orange "A" and what looks like a hyperlink, and when clicked, it takes the reader right to...

I think it would be so good if we can add the zazzle products to our hubs via Zazzle Capsule just like We do it for Amazon. It will help us improve traffic and of course earnings.
