   So what is to happen to Roe vs. Wade now? Justice Kennedy has been the swing vote on the Supreme Court preventing certain states from continuing to weaken the spirit of Roe vs. Wade as established law.
   
   With him gone what is to happen, can you follow the dots?
   
   These rightwing states are going to seek an interpretation of life as beginning at the time of conception. Why wouldn’t they? Isn’t that what they and their hypocritical religious base have been seeking, with no more need to compromise and adjust based on Federal Law?
   
   So, the availability of safe and effective abortion services are going to be eliminated, Texas is a good example of where this has been happening.
   
   But, why limit it there? They are not going to close down the clinics just so women will still have the option of self abortion through the drugs available that have been shown to be safe and effective. The idea is to eliminate abortion entirely. There have been a handful of cases in the country where women have been prosecuted for “self abortion”. Without the restraint previously established under Federal law, do you not think that there will be more of these “prosecutions’?
   
   Trump of the Big Top has already said that punishment is appropriate for women who get abortions and many of the Right have put their crosshairs on contraceptive options, so it is not just about abortions.
   
   Will there be introduction of criminal penalties over a broader area for women who self medicate with these drugs?
   
   When women want to obtain an abortion will there be this 21st century version of the “Underground Railroad” to get them to the relative sanctuary of Progressive States, so that the procedure can be performed. If the cretin rightwing legislators and executives of the backward states want to prohibit your access to an abortion, why are they going to allow you to take your problem outside of their pitiful jurisdictions for a remedy?
   
   So, if I were female, this would make my blood boil. Are you really ready to be reduced to incubating machines, subject to every imposition on your rights while the guys go relatively unscathed?
   We are going to end up with a patchwork of states, some outlawing the procedure and those that do not and a few in the middle. It will be interesting to see just how far the rightwinger is willing to take this? Progressive states will never allow for a Constitutional Amendment banning abortion, so we are stuck with the patchwork.
   
   So, if you are female and vote Republican, you will only have yourself to blame for this outcome.
   
   Such is one of the many reasons why I remain an intractable enemy of the Political Right and the Rightwinger’s worse nightmare.

   Yes,  another conservative Court Judge ,  Women are going to die on  backstreet abortion operating tables , Children will be evolve into cretens of minus IQ ,  immigrant bodies will begin stacking up at the border wall  in piles that will bloat and smell all the way to the middle of Ohio ,  Blacks will be relegated back to the cotton fields of the Carolinas ,   the space industry will rust away on the launching pads ,  transgenders will be so thick in the county jails that all the guards will have to do is walk across the shoulders of the inmates , criminals will be confined to isolation and go blind from the lack of light like the mules of the coal mines in Kentucky past ,  We will be at war with every nation this side of  the South China sea , ..............

      Yes, with the rightwinger in charge any and all of those possibilities could easily become reality. Is that not the nature of the beast?

   As a woman, that does bother me. However, there is more than one issue to consider. So, I'm willing to take my chances with a court more conservative than liberal.

   Simply all  conservative hate , Why would the left not want an unchanging adherence to constitutional  law ?  That is simply what benefits all legal challenge . note , Of  700,000 abortions performed a year half by planned parenthood , the overall numbers declining , why does anyone think Roe vs. wade will end ? 
   Why really ?
   
   One more obstruction , that's simple  .  One more reason to take the ride on the Trump hate train . keep the hate very alive .    In other threads your hypocrisy suggests asking why " We can't  all just get along " , so here's why . You don't want that !

      We on the left subscribe to Constitutional Law, so that is why we resist a constitutional ban against abortion nationwide, is that so hard to understand?
      
      Your rightwing buddies have been challenging and chipping at the foundations of Roe vs Wade since the ruling. With it overruled, I guess that you will bring the ladies back to whalebone corsets. Conservativism= the past, Liberalism=the future.
      
      And when it comes to restricting more and more rights, yes, I obstruct and yes, the left will obstruct. We will get along, but not with the rightwing cretin running things and saying all is ok, as long as their foot is on my throat. Don't count on it. Your crowd is more resistant to compromise, that is why we need more democrats in Congress, to bring Trump to the bargaining table. That is how we are going to get along.

         Right !   No Credence you don't  , I think your dreaming again . Don't worry abortion , it isn't going anywhere  .  You will have that right eternally ,  no matter how unconscionable it is as a form of birth control .   Your "past and future " is a joke Credence  liberals are simply for whatever  liberty is at the moment of entitled pleasure ,  conservatives wrote the constitution ,  liberals are erasing those liberties one after another after another .

            Yeah, they (conservatives) wrote the same Constitution that accommodated slavery and the provision that only property holding white men can vote. Are those the same conservatives that you are talking about?

               You ARE destroying the constitution daily by the senseless Alinsky attrition of your party  ,    Get over yourself,  all societies and cultures evolve  and ours has too , Why did your party fight the ends of slavery for so long , why did your party fight 1968 civil rights act so long ?
               One day I hope you mature to a point of not blaming racism on your every political thread or  post  you are involved in.

                  Conservatives by definition do not evolve, but de-evolve by standing still as resistant to change. They are dragged to the altar by progressive thinking people to acknowledge expanding rights and opportunities that they just as soon not see change. But, they were forced to change or witness the whole shebang come down on their heads. Conservative reasoning relative to the need to move forward, has always been futile and useless. I know that conservatives are anti-intellectual, but I hold a History Degree and so you know that I not going to buy your "Mr Peabody and Sherman" version of history.
                  
                  How often do I have to remind you that ideological affiliation relative to party has changed in the past 150 years? In 1861, Lincoln and the Republicans were the progressives, while the Democrats holding on to an impossible status quo, wore the conservative mantle expertly. But that was far into the past, the Democratic Party has changed in the last 60 years to become the better representative of Progressive value between the two parties.
                  
                  As for "racism", if the shoe fits? Sometimes the "race card"  is the only card or explanation on the table to explain certain kinds of behavior, that I will not dismiss

   Even Obama today called on his own party to 'Stop the moping "  for what not only seems like an entire generation , but  the democrats of two generations and more , Such open whining about  the world coming to an end under Trump is childish , uninformed and wholey immature . 
   
   Your party is bouncing from issue to issue , obstruction to resistance ,on  EVERY SINGLE move that this administration has made , some even completely progressive .  Conservatives at least know how to aim their attacks on the right issues , they know how to focus on action and a political reckoning , yet what does the left offer up for alternatives ?  Maxine Waters , Nancy Pelosi , comedians ,  celebrity mental breakdowns and childish street protests .
   
   Obama is pointing it out the best -Grow up !
