Socialism = Injustice

   Everyone knows it is not fair to tax someone just because they generate huge amounts of money. Yet the democratic/(Left-influenced)/youth take the rich for granted targeting them just for being successful.
   
   The rich already pay a higher tax rate. The rich are people too. Why take unfair advantage of them? Why not encourage (ALL) people to become prosperous?
   
   If we start taxing at the rate which Miss Ocasio-Cortez and the other "democratic" socialists suggest, up to 70%, the rich might decide to take their business, money, company and employees, (if they're lucky,) to other countries.
   
   Or they could shut down and retire.
   
   If YOU would not want to be taxed at a higher rates, why would one of the wealthy?
   
   If YOU wouldn't want your wages taxed for the purpose of free this and free that for whoever, whatever and whenever as dictated by the government, why would the wealthy?
   
   
   After all, eventually, the money you,(any of us,) are taxed could leave the country for humanitarian aide in other countries. You can''t afford to let the government take your money for whatever they deem "morally right."
   
   And as a side-light to this discussion what  IS  M O R A L L Y   R I G H T ?
   Is democratic socialism morally right?

      Unfortunately, this is far from true; the socialists of our society view all wealth belongs to whoever has the might to take it, and that's them if they can just get the votes.  That it is often covered with faux claims of morality, what actually matters is "Might makes right", and they have the might: a theory that makes complete sense until it is applied the totality of what happens rather than just a small portion of the action.

         Unfortunately, the socialists of our society think it IS fair to tax the wealthy.
         
         They believe: "that all wealth belongs to whoever has the might to take it, and that's them ... if they can just get the votes." 
         
         That it is often covered with faux claims of morality.
         
         What actually matters is, "Might makes right",
         
         and they have the might.
         
         Their theory makes complete sense as long as it is applied to a small portion of the action, rather than the totality.

      Democratic Socialism is immoral.  Part of the strength of socialism is the claim that since the capitalist system is immoral, leaving many with little and few with a lot, that it needs to be corrected with more immorality.  It's classic 2 wrongs make a right nonsense. Supporters don't give a rat's butt about stealing from others for the sake of social justice.
      
      The push for social justice has perverted some of Christianity, and this perverted Christianity is also being used to push the socialist agenda.

      I'm confused. You don't need democratic socialism to tax the rich at higher rates. We currently tax the rich at higher rates. Unless you are advocating for a flat tax or something similar, you cannot claim that higher tax rates for the rich is morally reprehensible.
      
      I'm assuming that you believe that democratic socialists have taken it too far. You believe that taxing the rich at higher rates is okay, as long as those rates aren't "too high". My question to you is: How high is "too high"? And how have democratic socialists specifically demonstrated that their tax rates of the rich are "too high"?
      
      Also, what makes you so sure that taxing the rich is "morally unfair"? What definition of morals are you working with and how do you know that definition is the best definition?

      Its fine as it is, as far as I surmise. The democratic socialists want to increase the tax at the top.
      How else are they fund free college and healthcare insurance.
      
      
      I don't know what the repercussions of a flat tax are or if its fair.

   Ocasio-Cortez is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America. Ocasio-Cortez and Rashida Tlaib are the first members of the Democratic Socialists of America in Congress.
   
   Her platform includes:
   
   1. Medicare For all
   2. Federal jobs guarantee
   3. Guaranteed family leave
   4. Establishing a Green New Deal
   5. Abolishing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement
   6. Free public college and trade school
   7. Infrastructure projects for renewable energy 
   8 A 70% marginal tax rate for incomes above $10 million
