Misery loves company. It really helps.

This thread is dedicated to sharing life’s problems. You Are Not Alone; it is important that people realize that.

We all know that reading the daily news tells us that whatever we think our problems are, we know it could be much worse.

It appals me the number of young people that commit suicide over relationships and money. When you are young, there is hope. To give up and quit is just plain stupid.

I have published this elsewhere, but HP has a farther reach.

Got a problem? State it here.

    I’ll start:

Dealing with government bureaucracy and financial desperation and fear, particularly medical.

    ---

Obviously this not going to be a happy thread, but maybe we can turn it into as such.

It is hopeful that folks post their problems here; a validation and normalcy of life.

I had to look up what you where referring to; as  referring to chihuahuas, my statement stands.

If they have fleas, give them Comfortis. It's a pill you give them. It works really fast, lasts a month and I have never had a dog with a bad reaction to it.

Apparently we need parrots to be shot.

The depressing thing for me is that alcohol works less often. You need energy to enjoy a drink and mine is deserting me.

Thank you everyone for your responses. The medical system has finally and successfully broken me down and they have won. Due to vision problems, other medical problems, financial, and just being too old; I have lost the ability to fight back.

What with my being forced to discontinue all medical treatments, I imagine I will not be around HP much longer.

@HP and fellow Hubbers, it is thanks to you I have survived as long as I have. The money alone I have received from HP made a critical difference. The friendships I have made at HP has also made a critical difference, more that you will ever know.

I am not calling this my last post at HP. Frankly, I don't know when that will be. And it's a good bet that when I do make my last post, I won't even realize it at the time.

Again, thank you HP and fellow Hubbers.

Just an update. I escalated the medical bureaucracy war to the state level. Suddenly all the problems being generated by the local office came to a complete, immediate, and dead stop. I am still emotionally adjusting to the fact that his 2-month-old nightmare is finally  over. Am re-grouping this weekend and getting prepared for whatever is the next life-nightmare that is going to be thrown at us lab rats.

Clarification. All is well. The state apparently intervened and got the local office that was causing all the problems straightened out. The medical bureaucracy war is successfully over.
