Hi everyone, It's been a long time since I've been active on HP, although I do get the newsletter and occasional notice that I have a question or comment on one of my hubs. So this has probably been announced and I never noticed or thought it didn't apply to me b/c I'm not that active or a high-earner. Anyway, when I was on HP the other day to answer a question on a hub, I noticed a key symbol and found out it means Maven Coalition. Can someone tell me what that means and what it might mean for me? Or post a link to the appropriate announcement? Thank you!
We're all part of the Maven Coalition by virtue of being here. Kinda.
We've done been bought, happened a little over a year ago: https://hubpages.com/community/forum/14 … d-by-maven
This could be an excellent meme and comment thread about this topic.
I've assigned my subconscious to come up with something, but so far nothing.
The messing around threads are becoming more infrequent around here. Too bad, they've resulted in more good articles than one can imagine.
[New sign off when I remember. Please expect more misspellings in my posts. Sorry.]
Update: fixed them.
Danette, To give you more information in addition to the link paradigmsearch posted above, I wrote a hub about the Maven coalition conference I attended last year. You can find it in my profile. Look for “What I Learned at the 2018 Maven Coalition Conference With Hubpages”.

My subconscious still hasn't served up a suitable meme. Meanwhile, I am surprised HP didn't send me a thank you note regarding the Official Notifications discovery.

Analytics tells me that I suddenly started getting traffic from something called the Maven Coalition. Since I don't have a website on Maven, are my hubs being advertised there? How can I figure out where specifically on Maven this traffic is coming from?

I got an e-mail yesterday about being chosen to attend the Maven Coalition Conference for my work on HubPages. Did anyone else get the e-mail? What are your thoughts on it?

Did Hubpages change how to make comments on articles?

I just noticed on my Owlcation article that the Maven key (logo) shows on the bottom left (desktop view). That's a pretty neat way to do it without changing the appearance of the niche sites. Nice job

Last question for the day....what is this key symbol I see in the bottom left of my screen that says Member of the Maven Coalition.....Am I a member? And what does this mean?

I published a new article late last night. It has been Featured and has 4 lengthy comments on it. When I approved the comments, no area came up for me to reply to them. Not wanting to ignore people kind enough to add to what I said, I answered them by name in the main comment area at the top. I...
