Humankind has progressed enormously in the fields of technology, medicine, & science.   Do you believe that human immortality will become reality?  Do you contend that old age will be erased with the advanced research?   To others, do you contend that wanting to live forever is a moral affront, even a mortal transgression?  To the others, do you strongly argue that humankind was meant to have a limited lifespan & to want otherwise is a spiritual affront?  Do you believe that humankind was meant to be generational & that wanting human immortality is a selfish act which deprive future, yet unborn generations of contributing to the world?   Your thoughts, pro or con on the subject?

Do you believe that human immortality will become reality?
No. We are not that talented.

Do you contend that old age will be erased with the advanced research?
      No. It is impossible.

Do you contend that wanting to live forever is a moral affront, even a mortal transgression?
No. As we do live forever. Just not in one body.

Do you strongly argue that humankind was meant to have a limited lifespan?
Yes. A limited lifespan is inevitable and unavoidable, although some Yogis grow old and then young again in the same body.

... to want otherwise is a spiritual affront?
No, it is a natural urge based on the fact that the spirt/soul lives on and on, in and out of reincarnations/bodies until it joins the sea of God once again.

Do you believe that humankind was meant to be generational
      Yes.

Do you believe that desiring human immortality is selfish?
It is a desire which keeps one materialistically bound. It is better to want freedom and expansion into the metaphysical world.

Would our immortality deprive future generations the ability to contribute to the world?
It would deprive one of rest in the astral realms. This rest is very vital to the soul. Earth is an exhausting place.
Many look forward to dying. It might be depressing to think there is no way to exit the earth plane.

Some evil, people, like George Soros, would only keep the earth in peril and misery. Why would we want to enable evil people to continue their evil deeds. They need to exit. The game is fair. Let us all pass away according to our karma and our deeds.

As I'm a firm believer in never doing today what you can leave until tomorrow, an infinity of tomorrows would mean that I never get anything done at all.
Another factor is that, in all likelihood, the planet will be a pretty awful place 50 years from now. Not sure I'd want to be around.

Okay, in your assessment how will the planet be worse 50 years from now?

... so, what will the world look like in 50 years?

I have a great fear that the skills of reading, writing and arithmetic will be so dismal that self-reliance and independence will be lost. Instead, dependence on the government will be foremost. The government will own everything, including land, and will rent out whatever the people need or want. Those who do not comply or agree with the government, (and/or those in power,) will be denied access to "their" homes and cars. Furthermore, by freezing bank accounts, the government can deny anyone the ability to buy food, goods and services. Money will no longer be an issue, as only numbers will indicate bank balances. Bank balances will raise and fall according to work-related data. Work will be so valued, that a 9 to 9 work day will be the norm.

You like the idea of being a slave to some government?
    Just keep voting Democrat.
