   I was watching Tony Dungy last night and he was giving praises too Vince Young. I loved every minute of it. Tony Dungy is right when he said "Winners, Win, and Vince Young is a winner always has been" He followed that up by Throwing out the name Tim Tebow, That is the all time winner and the oakland raiders better sign him today, because as Tony Dungy Said "Winners, Win" Tebow will cure the raider curse

      It's going to take more than one QB to fix the Raiders, sorry to say.  Any team with meddling owners are going to have issues.  Please observe:
      
      Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys, Oakland Raiders.
      
      None of these teams will get anywhere unless the powers that be let the coaches coach and the GMs manage.

      I think Tebow should model himself after McNair...he must improve on his passing skills in order to pull it off in the NFL, though.

   Winners win in the pros, not college. Tebow has a lot more in common with the other QB in Sunday's game than he does with Vince Young.

      I agree.  To add to that, Florida has a history of great college QBs who became awful Pro QBs.  Think Danny Kannell, Danny Wuerffel, and Rex Grossman.  Big-name college football players rarely become great Pro QBs.  Peyton is one of the few exceptions, but he didn't win a National Title.

         hey man those guys were under Steve Spurriers system. Not Urban Meyers, I believe Urban Meyer has a good track record of making good NFL QB's. Alex Smith isnt to bad. The point is when the NFL combine comes Tebow's prospect will fall, but I just want those GMs out there to remember that this guy doesnt lose football games. dont worry about how accurate he throws ithe ball on the run or any of that junk. Tim Tebow deserves to be the best NFL prospect and he will probably end up being a late 1st rounder becase of the combine. I'll leave you with this quote again from Tony Dungy "Winners, Win, it doesnt matter where there playing football at they just win."

            Vince Young has the #1 running back on this team as well. He also has Kenny Britt and somewhat of a defense that was dormant in their first 6 games. Vince Young is not winning the games on his own. He is a better game manager than Collins and he is not making mistakes that Collins made earlier in the season and I think that is the reason for their win streak.

               Yea possibly could be, but Young was winning prior to being benched two years ago. Hes only lost 3 or 4 games as a starting QB in the NFL. Check it out. Plus he only lost 3 or 4 games in 4 years at texas. Chris Johnson has been playing all year thats means he was in during there 0-6 start. you move VY in and now they are 5-6. Had Collins stayed in all season the titans would be 2-9 right now. Either way my Point is that Tim Tebow will have this same sucess in the pros as Vince Young because he has that Nack for Winning ball games. Everyone counted Doug Flutie out and said he was to small, once he got his shot he brought Buffalo back into the playoffs and helped make the chargers not stink so bad. Drew Brees turned Purdue into a big ten Power, The scouts in the NFL said he was small and was a system QB, couldnt handle the Pace of the Pros, what has he done, Win football games, and score points for the Chargers and now the Saints. those two teams were the doormat of nfl before he went there.

               USC had the number1 running back in college as well as the best quarterback in college the year before when Texas beat the Trojans. Those players on the Texas team FOLLOWED the lead of a winner! Tebow is not an NFL quarterback, he's barely a college quarterback!

                  Wow I cant believe you have 148 fans, If you think Tebow is that bad ur Crazy. Hes the Greatest College Football Player ever. I agree that Vince Young is a winner I was comparing these two great players. It wasnt to long ago everyone wrote Young off. And he hadnt even taken a snap in over a year. once he got his 2nd chance he showed that he wins football games. Tim Tebow has the same characteristics, Hes a born Winner and he'll win in the pros too.

                     Why are you concerned about how many fans anybody has? Tebow is NOT the greatest College Football Player ever, he hasn't won as many games as Colt McCoy has, in fact nobody has! Is he one of the 3 count em 3 players who have thrown for more than 300 and rushed for more than 150 in the same game? No, but Colt McCoy is! The interesting thing is I wouldn't bestow the Honor of Colt being the greatest college football player ever,  Vince Young could have been but didn't stay for his Senior year. VY left another National Championship and the Heisman on the table (which he should have won not Reggie Bush)to go pro! Tebow doesn't even come close to the likes of Archie Griffin,Earl Campbell,Tony Dorsett,Roger Staubach! I'm surprised you can even spell College Football with the knowledge you possess about it! Tim Tebow? Put the pipe down!

      Wow. I was just coming from what one of the greatest coaches ever to coach had to say. I'll take his word over yours anyday. Vince Young while not the best looking QB is 9-0 in his last 9 starts in the NFL, not to mention he won a national championship at texas. Tim Tebow is very similiar, hes being vastly underrated, but the fact of the matter is he doesnt lose football games and mark my words he will carry that persona into a great NFL career. Tim Tebow isnt just a great football player, hes a leader, and I can see that guy in year one having everyone follow him into war on sunday. No matter where hes at. Oakland probably.

   I cant believe what the Saints are doing to the Pats. Gotta say I am loving every second of seeing Belichick not looking like a happy camper. .
   
   What I wouldnt give to be in the Pats locker room right about now!

   I agree with you, but I think Tebow has the potential to be good, but it all depends on the system he is put in. He may not adapt to the Cleveland Browns or the St Louis Rams system and therefore he might be labelled overrated etc etc. Vince Young is fortunate to have Jeff Fisher as a coach and a team that surrounds him. I think the Titans were losing because their offense is not built to score 30-40 points each week and their defense could not stop anyone. They relied on their defense the past few seasons to bail them out when kerry collins still managed to throw 2-3 interceptions in a game. I looked at Chris Johnson's rushing yards per game and when the Titans were 0-6 this season Chris Johnson managed 2 games above 100 yards. Since the bye week Chris Johnson is averaging 160 yards per game. I hope Tebow has the same kind of support where ever he goes because without it he will be another Rex Grossman.

   Tebow is going to have trouble in the pros although, I agree that he may be the greatest college player of all time.
   
   His problem is his release is slow and he often delivers the ball late.  His plus is his leadership abilities.  It's going to be interesting to see where he goes in the draft.
   
   I keep thinking he should be a fullback or a linebacker...

   There are too many assumptions about Tim Tebow when it comes to how people think he will fare in the NFL. Me personally, I think he will get hurt before he even makes any immidiate impact anyway or anywhere. He's so heavy on his feet and is a little too physical to play the QB position for a long period of time in the NFL. Once he steps out on an NFL field, especially playing with a team like Oakland, he's going to find out the hard way that naked bootlegs don't get you anywhere but the I.R. list. However, this is just my opinion, I compare 'Timmy' Tim Tebow to JeMarcus Russell when he came out of LSU. A big physical style QB with a rocket arm, what was his outcome? Riiiiighttt?
   
   My prediction, if Tebow (or basically when)gets acquired by a team his QB coach is going to have to teach that young man to slide and get out of bounds. Ultimately, Tebow will either grow to adapt or become frustrated because it's not his natural style and try to force things. He wears his emotions on his sleeve a bit much like Jay Cutler, this could prove harmful if he lands on a bad team that's rebuilding.

    Tebow will be used the same way Michael Vick is being utilized in Philly, Wildcat formation and do your best you can. Tebow plays like a fullback, throws like a halfback and shouldn't be a quarterback.
