As most of you know, I'm a die-hard Giants fan.  However, I've watch Randy Moss his entire career and have always been a fan of the best talent in the NFL (Barry Sanders, Joe Montana, Lawrence Taylor, etc).  The discussion of "Elite NFL Wide Receiver" cannot do without making mention of Randy Moss.  He's one of the best the world has ever seen...

As of late, he's been reluctant to stretch out his arms to get high passes, to fight to prevent interceptions, and now today, to secure the football!

C'mon, man!  You're better than that!  The Patriots are now LOSING BECAUSE OF YOU!  Wake up!!!

    Your thoughts?

lol I see now the Pats are on a scoring drive and none of Brady's passes are being thrown to Moss at all!  Welker has like 7 receptions so far and they moved the ball like 28 yards.  Gotta love the dinka' dunk passing game big_smile

I think that his own suppressed ego in New England is starting to bother him and he isn't happy. So, he is no different than the rest of the player playing in the NFL....they think that they are better than they really are.

Hence, he may be a good receiver, but he is a poor human being. big_smile

    Just a thought.

Seems like hes getting frustrated with the poor play.  Its a real catch 22 with him, he plays poorly, gets frustrated, plays more poorly, continue...

I always want wide receivers to stretch out on on plays over the middle.  I've seen Randy alligator arm it a bit, but poor Alex Smith in SF isn't getting any help from his receivers.  They flinch when the ball is over the middle and drop more passes than any team I've seen in a long time.

This isn't a recent development. It was much less frequent in NE, but one of the things Moss is known for is shrinking arms and a habit of disappearing during games.
