Affiliate Millions by Anthony Borelli - Has anyone read this book?

   Has anyone read this book?  I've been considering buying it.  If not, does anyone know of any other affiliate marketing resources that aren't scams?  I'd prefer full length books or video series.

      I have read several Internet based books or e-books. And, that was not one that I read. So, with that said, I would also like to inform you. I haven't read an e-book that has been created, anything in last 4-5 years, because most are junk.
      
      I have read one that was very helpful in learning to Market online, but I'm not to say, because it's not my place to sell their product. But, Thank you for asking.

   I haven't read the book, but from the reviews it seems to be a very basic introduction to using PPC advertising with affiliate programs.  Unfortunately, many programs, and Amazon specifically (which he talks about in the book) have recently started to ban direct PPC advertising (you can still use PPC to drive traffic to your own landing pages), so much of the information in the book is no longer of much value.

   I recently spent an afternoon at the local Barnes & Noble and scanned every book that they had on affiliate marketing and making money online. Most were very basic and left so much out that I would call each of them pretty close to useless.
   
   For example they don't tell you about cookie duration when judging the worth of an affiliate program. They don't tell you that some affiliate networks are more likely to allow in affiliates that steal cookies from other affiliates. And most don't even tell you what a cookie is. They don't tell you if you live in NY, NC, or RI you path is very difficult.
   
   And lastly to my amazement most left out Squidoo and ALL left out HubPages.
   
   Lastly they all seem to rely on pay per click to some extent and that is a very dangerous game for a newbie to play in.
   
   I have always believed that in this game, the people who can learn by themselves and are willing to experiment will do the best, because things change so much and so often.

   Agree with the consensus here, affiliate marketting books are next to worthless, instead experiment and you will begin to make money in no time.
   
   There is plenty of free information out there to help you get started with the basics, and the rest is so diverse and ever changing, that no book could encompass it.
   
   I have read a few of the books, and I can safely say that if I did everything they said to do I would have had enough spare time to update a site approximately once every year, and I could guarantee to you that the site would have failed.
   
   Most of these books are written by self acclaimed experts who just rehash old information, often inaccurately.
