i had a lot of time to read for a while so just wanted to share some thoughts,

If the loser Commies failed so drastically i mean reality became grim for people literally over night. Like money became worthless chaos etc. So all that was formed in the mind that was real was actually a hoax.

So if that is a reality of one side of the game of earth politics then what can we face now. I mean if there is no opposition to corporate politics.
And how long can that stand real. I mean i love America and for witch it stands but what kind of reality can we face if money work etc. becomes also not real like it is happening now.

if commies went down there is was capitali corpies that had a solution but of that system fails then what do we have to follow.

Do you see a global change in political policy such as maybe
    social democracy?

Socialist democracy as in China you mean. It is the inevitable next step. I see America headed that way "kicking and screaming". All the capi corpies have to do is manipulate the masses by using covert tactics driven on American pride. The auto industry and financial systems were too big to fail so there is a collaboration now. For how long, no one knows. China is the one to watch.

Why? Don't you know who Plato is? The student of Socrates.

Plato never finished his learning, what Socrates had to teach him. Therefore, it made him the fools fool. He was more in mysticism than reality. smile

  8. Misha profile image63
    Mishaposted 14 years ago

So you mean you deem Socrates a fool, and Plato a fool cause he learned from Socrates? Did you actually read some of what he wrote?

    1. Cagsil profile image70
Cagsilposted 14 years agoin reply to this

Socrates was not a fool. Plato was the fool.

The reason I say that Plato is the fool's fool. Is because, he fooled himself into believing he didn't need Socrates teachings.

      smile

Yes, I've read some of his work, while I did research on religion and mysticism. smile

His work is filled with mysticism. He is the reason humankind, believe humans are evil at the core and must be controlled like animals.

Yes, I am familiar with his work.

People need to read more. China is not a social democratic country- it is an authoritarian country developing its own brand of capitalism. The influence of communism as an economic and social model is long gone. Only the name remains.

Countries with a social democratic model include Sweden, Finland and to a lesser extent France and Germany. Many social democratic countries outperform anglo american style right wing economies and have better records on human rights, individual freedom, more advanced democratic controls and greater social cohesion.

Russia is also developing an authoritarian brand of capitalism with big corporations tied to government in one way or another.

In the US, of course, government is often tied to the corperations which is why it is less democratic than many other advanced nations.

I am well aware of world politics. The question was a philosophical one so I gave a philosophical answer based on future projections. China is still officially a communist country. They have ventured into the capitalist realm while maintaining a socialist base. Other countries maybe in awe at the level of stability but it has to do more with the culture than the economics. If the communist rulers can hold it together it will be hard to emulate.

what is even more incredibly frustrating is observing leadership that is multiple:  capitalist, bipartisan, communist, socialist, layered between federal/state/regional and local systems, hello nightmare - welcome to australia
