so is reddit, xomba and slashdot. anybody know of any good dofollow sites?
There's one hub I really need some dofollow links and can't seem to get google to find any.
The links in the bio box are dofollow.
I provided a huge list of web 2.0 sites in a forum post that will help.
web 2.0 list from forum
I tried some of those namely blogger and wordpress and the google link: function won't pick them up.
TerryGl, How are you using wetpaint? I thought it was all nofollow?
If it is that does not matter. Wetpaint has a lot of authority and if you use it in a linkwheel then you are really powering up all the links.
Any linking campaign must have a wetpaint component. It is imperative. Do not just think about G, as Yahoo and all the other se's love wetpaint.
No follow never bother me and it should not bother anyone else. The reason why is because most website pages have an rss feed and if it does not you can make one.
Rss feeds are DOFOLLOW so if your serious about building links, be serious about promoting those links using the rss feed. If someone reprints your article and you get a pingback, go to that site and submit its rss to pingler or pingalot. Help the website to help you.
That is a very short introduction into serious link building techniques. Never submit an article, blog comment, forum comment or any other sort of link unless you promote it, otherwise it is worthless and you have only carried out half an effort.
Always always use rss. That's where the big bang is. I hope this helps.
google never shows all the links pointing to a site - yahoo is a lot better. Basically if the web 2.0 site you are using is indexed and do follow the link is probably being counted
check the view page source on ezine. there's a nofollow tag there...unless i'm missing something?
I checked it out. The two links that lead to my website are not nofollow. Check the links in your resource box, I am sure they won't be nofollow, others might be.
I agree.
I include two links with anchor text in my bio box for every EzineArticle I submit.
After, I submitted 2 articles and then submitted another 7 articles, EzineArticles upgraded my account to Platinum...
you go to a website, right click and go to "view page source". then use your finder to find the "nofollow" tag. websites are dofollow by default unless you find one of these tags.
Download the Firefox NoDoFollow plug-in...
Afterwards, right click on a page and select NoDoFollow and it will highlight dofollow links in blue and nofollow links in reddish-pink.
Right click on a page and select NoDoFollow to turn it off.
Another really useful tool is SEOQuake plugin for Firefox. If you install it, on the bottom right you can enable a feature that will put a strikethrough on all no follow links. As stated above, ezine author boxes are follow links and counted by Google. Ezine articles are great backlinks because the articles themselves gain PR very easily due to the high PR of the ezinearticles homepage and therefore you get a high PR article about whatever you want.
That may or may not be nofollow but your links in resource box would be dofollow. ![]()
Compare your traffic from Google and Yahoo to see why focussing on Yahoo is more or less a waste of time.
RSS feeds are do-follow or no-follow depending on the script that controls it.
None of the search eengines Use No Follow in Ranking. Yahoo does follow No Follow links to index pages, but it does not give any authority for them.
Tis means that if Wetpain is No Follow, then it provides little in the way of benefit to your site, or it's link network.
I would have thought it was more natural to have nofollow links as well as dofollow. Wouldn't it be suspicious if all your links are dofollow?

To everyone who is using the Disavowal Link Tool on Google and/or has had a loss of traffic, be sure to remove any articles you have on EzineArticles and any other article sites you may have used to post links to your HP subdomain or Hubs. These links are considered spam links by Google and...

It took over a month, but I am now able to use shetoldme.com. Do you hubbers that use shetoldme.com generally send all your hubs to shetoldme.com? I wanted to send them back in July, but now I have over 100 hubs. Would it be a good idea to work on getting these links out there before working on...

backlinks.I have been using Ezine to get backlinks to a website and now I am wanting to start creating back links to my Hubs as well. I'm wondering if it creates more "link juice" to say create 2 back links via ezine and 2 back links via another article directory like Buzzle.com rather...

Ok, this makes no sense, I have a few articles on AC that are in the top 3 pages of google, 1 article is actually in the top spot for its keyword phrase. How can I get that one in top spot and not a single hubpage article even in top 3 pages.

Can I post an article to ezinearticles which I have already published in hubpages?
