Helllooooooo Hubber's! Hope you are all well, I need some help! smile
I need some songs, some meaningful songs, which kind of explain... say the end of something e.g. relationship, friendship or someone leaving somewhere maybe, something along them lines. Not too depressing though, meaningful but nice smile

Are there any you can suggest??

    Thankyoooouuuu smile smile

There's an old song sung by Nancy Sinatra, These Boots Were Made for Walking, which I love.  I like it so much that I put it in my mini hub.  It's very upbeat and empowering.

There's Sheena Easton's Almost Over You
      Gloria Gaynor's I Will Survive
      Enough is Enough by Streisand/Summer
Knowing Me and Knowing You by Abba

I always seem to like the old songs when it comes to leaving someone behind.

    sophs,
    check out this site: http://www.songlyrics.com/

You can put in lyrics (make them up if you want), search by topic, song style, etc.

So, like, you might want to type in "it's over" "love" "goodbye" etc.

    Hope this helps!

Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye

He'll never love you, the way that I love you
'Cause if he did, no no, he wouldn't make you cry
He might be thrillin' baby but a-my love (my love, my love)
    So dog-gone willin'
So kiss him (I wanna see you kiss him. Wanna see you kiss him)
Go on and kiss him goodbye, now

Na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye
Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye

    Listen to me now

He's never near you to comfort and cheer you
When all those sad tears are fallin' baby from your eyes
He might be thrillin' baby but a-my love (my love, my love)
    So dog-gone willin'
So kiss him (I wanna see you kiss him. I wanna see you kiss him)
Go on and kiss him goodbye, na-na na-na-na na na

Na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye

    [fade in]
    Hey hey-ey, goodbye
Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye
Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye
Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey-ey, goodbye
[repeat many times and fade out]

I will always love you by Whitney Houston

I like the two last para of the song

I hope life treats you kind,
And I hope you have all you've dreamed of
And I wish you joy and happiness
But above all this, I wish you love

    (Chorus)

I will always love you (x3)
I, I will always love you
    Darling I love you
I'll always, I'll always love you

    How about

"How can I forget you if you won't go away?"
"If your phone doesn't ring, that's me"
"I've flushed you from the bathroom of my heart"
"Walk backwards when you leave so I'll think you're comin' home"

All four of those lines are real songs.  Remember, I live just outside of Nashville.  You can hear anything when country music's king.

You might try "Overs" by Simon & Garfunkel, from their "Bookends" album.

Or a tune about a different sort of parting: "Last Boat Leaving" by Elvis Costello (from his CD "Spike").

        You're welcome Sophs, enjoy.

I wish I could think of some tune like what you want, that isn't about some sad ending, but instead takes an unpleasant situation that resolves into a joyous redemption or something.

Perhaps I'll rack my mind, and my vast music collection.
