Please help, I am clueless about question #18 They have even number with odd numbers together 24689 is it even or odd? Is it based on the first digit or the last digit? Confused - Not looking for answers just learn how to resolve the problem. Also number 28. Just can't get it.

Even and odd numbers are always told by the one's place.

I haven't seen the census practice test, so I'm not sure what you're talking about.  I will say this; leave it to our over-inflated government to make what should be as simple as "How many people live here" a logical and mathematical paradox.

Do you really need a 'practice test' for the census?

Answers are in the back of the test.

According to the Constitution all anyone is required to tell a census worker is how many people live in the household. So why do you need a test?

People, I'm pretty sure she's talking about the practice test for people who are applying for 2010 Census positions.

I would agree with PrettyPanther, that is what the OP is talking about.
I find it a little disturbing that someone that is considering applying for that position does not know what even and odd numbers are, considering the cencus is all about numbers of this and that.

That is exactly why they have a test.  smile
