A new Hubbing Philosophy

I haven't been a hubber for too long, but I have decided to change my hub philosophy.

Rather than just post content I create here I have decided to reserve it either for my blog or for another site that I am earning a bit more handsomely from.  (I have decided I don't really want to be posting duplicate content...)

In an effort to stay involved here and continue hubbing I will only be writing new hubs based on hub requests that I am interested in and think I could make a hub out of.  Thanks for reading my ramblings.  Let me know what you think...If you want.

You might consider rewriting your original content to make a unique HubPage version.  There's nothing wrong with that and PLUS you can increase your overall traffic on your topic!

Well, there is no rule against just doing what people request =\ I guess its a nice Philosophy. Personally, I disagree with it and think a lot of the Hubs should come from you, after all, it is like expressing yourself through text, images, videos, rss feeds, etc

    My personal opinion,

I do agree, but I have another place to post those now...The earning is more upfront there - especially for the topics that I choose which really do not garner much google traffic or popularity.  Not to mention, I managed as many view there on one piece as I have total view here.

Granted, I could be doing a little more here to increase readership amongst fellow hubbers, but none of my topics are real hot button keywords or search issues, maybe save for the one on college studies....

    Thanks for the feedback.

Well, how do you plan on making as much traffic here as you are there if you don't work on it with that Rich Content your talking about? Ever ponder about putting a summery of what you were to write on your blog there and link to the rest of it here? Wouldn't that drive the same people here that go there because it's the article their there for, yet that article is here?

      And no problem smile

"(I have decided I don't really want to be posting duplicate content...)  "

Well you can't get away with doing that for very long anyway - I got flagged for it and did not know I had done anything wrong!

They told me I had like *stolen content* on my hub word for word and I'm thinking like WHATTHEF***...so I looked up the hub and found that it was simply an article I had posted on a forum.

It was Totally MY article, I had not stolen anything; so they un-flagged me when I took it off the other site but, frankly, I was Very SORELY tempted to leave it on the other site and take it off hub.

I didn't because of only one reason, so many people really liked it and expressed that here.

Posting duplicate content is never a good idea anyway. Read it, then set it aside and write it again. Your words will be different and you'll win every time!

That said, posting to your blog is vital too if you want profits.

Best of both worlds, do both!

Agreed. Just do both, shouldn't take too long to change the wording around enough for it not to be considered duplicate content. You can have the best of both worlds.

This is the exact place to increase the traffic of your site. And will also help to increase the skills of your writing.
