Whenever you publish a new hub, an email is sent to your fans which enables them to click on the link to visit your hub. I think that is what shown as the traffic source in this case

Could the "questions" section of hubpages be dragging us down?

Question about page views:
I've noticed with a few hubs that for a month they might not get many hits, and then all of a sudden, they start getting outside traffic. Does this mean they've gone up in google rank or that they've maybe just been indexed? Thoughts? Ideas? Nasty comments?
