Yes, this was posted under the sections "Religion & Beliefs-->Exploring Options-->Introductions to Different Religion," so there was no mistake on my end. LOL! Now, what's your favorite cartoons that you watched as a child or as an adult? It can be past or present - doesn't matter......
Care Bears; that's a lovely answer. I bet you're a Christian, no?
Yes, here are HUGS for you, they are girlie girlie cute bears
The Simpsons! although it hasn't been vey funny for a couple of years now.
Thanks, cosette. Yeah, humanity as a whole seems to have a fetish for degeneracies...
I have fond memories of the Hannah Barbera cartoons like Yogi Bear and Huckleberry Hound. I even wrote a hub on my top 10.
I liked He-Man, since I yearn for Anarchic rule, oops, maybe that is rule over anarchy, or perhaps, that is just me being a vigilante... LOL! Besides, to rebel against religious dogma: I'm a selfish, chaotic agnostic with insane actualities to combat asininities. Plus, I like the whole sword thing going on in He-Man...something about the slice & dice that gets me every time... Ha-ha!
He-Man was my first thought! I was gonna put it as my fav but now you said all that I might have to re-think.
Actually, I have several... Ponder and post again, sweety...
Very nice selection... I enjoy martial arts, even from the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"... Nunchakus is my favorite, so Michelangelo was my 'focal point' on that particular cartoon...
I just remember them fighting and eating pizza lol
I suppose "Scooby-Doo" is filed under Scientology, as well?
Scratch that; I liked that damn cartoon. Ha-ha!
I actually have the DVD series to that, it was called "Star Trek the Animated Series" and it was great. I still like the Original Series (non-animated) the best. Then again, I'm a damn Sci-Fi junkie, so it's all good...
South Park ....I just find it funny and mindless at the same time, it wastes 25 minutes each episode, yet I feel happy after watching it, just to see how Kenny dies and what Cartman will do next!!
Hmm, your religion is called a "realist"... Nice selection, by the way.
Damn, I forgot about those crazy animated bastards... LOL!
The Simpsons, although I agree with Cosette, it has lost some gloss.
Ahh, one must dig deeper into this: Earnest, who's your favorite character on the Simpsons?
P.S. The Simpsons was one of the most successful 'toons of all times...
The star to me is homer. Don't feel too bad about Homer America, he is reflected in every culture I have seen so far!
He is wonderfully suburban American, (or English, Australian, European et al) with all their weaknesses.
It is just that you get such an honest and clever archetype from Homer. The other characters are first class as well, but especially Marge. The bar owner Moe is another wonderful character able to carry many roles!
The writers are very clever, and someone in there understands a lot about people!
I totally agree, and, for the one you left out: Mr. Burns represents the finest pessimist, tyrannical, animated bastard that hit the screen since Skeletor from He-Man, except he was the elder version... LOL!
How could I have forgotten our Mr.Burns? I have met a few of them too! He is wonderful at misusing his power especially with the poor Smithers.
Well said!

What was your favorite cartoon to watch when you were a child?Cartoons are not what they used to be a few decades ago. Share three of your favorite classic cartoons. Mine were Bugs Bunny, The Road Runner, and the Flinstones.

There are many truly memorable remarks uttered by actors on the big screen. My favorite is when Scarlet finally realizes what she had in Rhett just before he leaves and he utters that famous one-liner: "Frankly my dear Scarlet, I don't give a damn."What's your favorite?
