What is Sticks and Stones

Sticks and Stones is a game mode that was featured in Black Ops where players compete for first place. In that you will get a Crossbow, Tomahawk, and a knife. You have to attempt to kill the players in the game to get points. As you kill them with a knife you get the least points, with a crossbow, you will get more, and with a tomahawk you get more, AND will reset the player that got tomahawks score to 0. This will allow you to take an easy lead, and be successful, but there are tips to learning how to be the most successful when playing this game.

Also there is usually no max score unless in a private game, and with each player throwing tomahawks it would be difficult for you to achieve a high enough score to win. None the less after the time runs out the player with the highest score wins.

Training.

When you are going to train, the BEST way to train so that you can be successful at sticks and stones. THE BEST way to train is in the combat training. In combat training you can play against CPU players, and just use the tomahawk, and not worry about having to compete against other players, or lose for your team. This makes it very easy to keep using the tomahawk, knife, and crossbow and practice getting used to using them. This also as said above will not screw your team over, or kill your statistics. This is a great way for you to practice and gets better.

In Game Tips.

FIRST... Throw your tomahawk first.. Don't let this go to waste because this is crucial to taking the other players out. And this will also be more points than using a knife.

Second.. The Crossbow. This is also just as many points as the tomahawk, and will allow you to move up in the lead quicker.

THIRD.. Keep MOVING. Tomahawks are thrown constantly. Do not allow someone to easily aim up on your character and get a free kill.

Fourth - IF someone is close by, knife them. Just because these are worth more points.. If you get 10 knife kills, then you will be in the lead assuming you do not get tomahawked. Not to mention that as long as you don't get tomahawked those points WILL add up, and allow you to take that lead on an opponent.

Summary

Okay, so just remember practice, tomahawk, then crossbow. And knife if they get to close. But overall you should focus on taking the enemy out as quickly, and maximizing points. You should also be focused on tomahawking them in order to reset that precious score.
