Custom Card Ideas - Curse! Today is Not your Day
Intro
Curses are almost always disliked. You can lose a Level, lose an expensive or powerful item, become unable to partake in other people's combats, and so forth. However, worse than these are the persistent Curses, the ones like Curse! Chicken on your Head, where you can't easily get rid of it. Thus, I was inspired to create Curse! Today is Not Your Day

What does this Card do?
There are far more positive die roll altering effects in Munchkin than there are negative ones. This card is definitely of the much-needed latter.
"Any time you roll a die, change it so 1 is facing up. Cards and abilities override this Curse. This Curse is removed by a Wishing Ring."
It's a mean card, pure and simple. If you've got a Thief who won't stop attempting to Steal from players, hit them with this. Have a rival about to run away from one or more monsters? Hit them with this. Someone just play the Curse! Roulette! card? Hit them with this.
There's not much depth to this card, but it doesn't need much.
Strategy
You can play Curse cards at any point in the game. Start of the turn? Fire away. Starting to fight a monster? Let it rip. Your opponent about to roll the dice? Go-Go-Gadget-Curse card. It's all about the timing. Being perfectly honest, there's no better time to play this particular Curse card than when the die is being picked up from the table.
Curse! Today is Not Your Day will wreck all attempts to run away, use bonuses for cards like the Nimble Shank, screw up the planning for Chinese Fire Drill, roll for a chance to get at Charity, and so much more. This card comes with some major psychological harm, wearing an opponent down when they realize they stand no chance aside from a Loaded Die when they pick up a die.
Deck Compatibility
All decks require die rolls so this card becomes accessible to all decks. However, there are a few other Curse cards that are more effective on higher dice rolls in Munchkin Fu, one Minion in Munchkin Bites will only leave their player if they roll a 6, and a few other decks have cards that benefit for the player on lower rolls.
Also of note is Munchkin Zombies where the player may be a Voodoo Zombie who benefits from playing Curses on other players.
