Fifa 13 Ultimate Team Tips And Strategies

Updated on April 14, 2014

And We Are Back

Well its taken me a while guys but Warchild75 is back with his most popular hubs!!, Fifa 13 has been with us for a month or so now and everybody has been busy building their ultimate teams, I have seen some good teams, some Ultimate teams and some downright awful teams.

For those of you that have read my previous fifa tips hubs then you will know that they are not only popular but also pretty much similar between fifa games. There isn't a huge amount different to learn in this years fifa but I will endeavour to go over some of the basics again for the new gamers who haven't played it before or haven't read my hubs before and may be struggling with creating their ultimate team.

So for those of you who may be a seasoned pro, please do not message me saying the tips are basic, All that's happened is you have progressed to a good level and well done to you for getting there. What you good players need to remember is for thousands of people every year Fifa is a brand new concept to them and Ultimate team is just intriguing, They have a rough idea on how it works but need guidence. Every hub I do has to cater for everyone so apologies if I go over the basics.

Earning Coins

So the core of a good ultimate team is funds, This is where its fairly simple, To get funds you need to collect coins and to do this what you have to do is play matches either online or off, this is a good way of getting coins but can be tediously slow, If your an average player you can make between 300-500 coins per match, Now this means to get an average gold player of around a 83-85 rating then you would need to get roughly 10 wins, this of course will take a couple of hours. Time consuming.!!

Another way and by far the most popular is to trade players for a profit, This is far harder than it was back in fifa 10, but it can still be done. Popular players sell far easier than non popular players, All you have to do is work out who is selling and who isn't. This is quite easy, just simply watch some of your favourite players who play for the big clubs and watch at least ten of each of your favourite player and then revisit when the sale is up to see if they sold or not, You can also see what price they sold for and then work out a good selling cost for yourself.

I will be doing a seperate guide on how to do well trading on fifa 13, coming soon.

Is it important or not, This seems to be the old age question that gets asked every time there is a new ultimate team, For me I personally think it is important as I have countlessly beaten 5 star teams who only have 20 or 30 chemistry with just a 2 star team that has 100, so for me I believe it works.

The easiest way to acheive it is to always buy players that prefer the formation your using and if this isnt possible then get a formation card to change them, once they are all playing in the right formation and the manager has the right formation then you are quite close to acheiving great chemistry, Next is the task of playing countrymen and club mates near to each other, As well as this try to play your players in the position it says on their player card.

Using all the above tips will get you in the 90's when it comes to chemistry, the rest is up to you.

Buy And Sell

Now this is not the same as trading, Well it kind of is!! Im not making sense am I?. OK so you have an average back four and very little funds, you would really like someone like Santi Corzorla but say for example he costs 5000 coins.

All you need to do is sell one of your regular back four to gain a couple of thousand and then those extra few thousand coins don't seem so hard to find now. I know its easy right, It might seem it but everyone these days is obsessed with adding every player they don't use to their club so they can climb the leader-board, Well that's great but you will get a better team, quicker if you just trade up. sell an average player to buy a good player. It takes time but there is no quick fix for a great team unless you spend real cash. Even then that is not guaranteed.

This is the way most of us have to get a better squad, We have to sell our average players to gain a good one. It takes time and can be a little tedious but unless you get extremely lucky in a pack opening then this is the way you have to do it.

Fifa 13 Packs

Another old age question is should I buy packs, Well it depends how much free cash you have but I have done countless experiments down the years and if you check some of my old hubs at the end of this you will see for yourself the results.

They have not been spectacular, The best player I have ever got is Ribery who I sold for 500,000 but that was after going through possibly 150-200 packs! It is in my opinion a waste of money although once you start to buy packs it is an incredibly addictive thing. Just one more pack and you could find Messi!! The chances though are stacked against you. If you do have to buy packs wait until the team of the week is released or failing that wait for happy hour

It is totally up to each individual if you spend hard earned cash on Fifa, I would say with each new addition of fifa, if you put aside somewhere between £20 and £50 then spend £10 on packs per month, that will see you through for a while without feeling like you are wasting money.

If you follow EA and the Fifa team on Twitter they announce a happy hour where you stand more chance of getting good players in packs. Good luck.

In a lot of my previous hubs I had loads of questions asked in the comments sections so please guys if there is anything you would like to know or would love to ask me then feel free, I make these hubs for you guys and gals and feel privileged that I can be of some help.

I will try my best to answer within 12 hours and give you the best answer I can. I love to help all you guys on Ultimate team and the best thing is unlike certain people on the net I do it for free!!. Thanks for reading please vote up and like and share, Let your mates know where you got the good advice from and I shall see you all on the next hub. cheers guys and gals.
