Zynga's Cityville Tips about community buildings and staff

Zynga is the most popular developer of social networking games on facebook like farmville, cafe world, forntierville, yoville etc. And a new chapter has been added to this in the last month of year 2010. As a holiday gift zynga launched its newest game called as cityville on facebook. In cityville we are allowed to become tha mayor of a virtual city. We can create a virtual city by giving it a name we want and increase population, grow crops, own businesses, decorate our city and do many more things. The aim of the game is to develop your city and become the mayor of your city. In order to become the mayor of the city you need to complete some goals in the game.
City Cash and City Coins
Like other zynga games cityville has its own currency which can be used to buy buidings, decorations and other stuff in the cityville. You can unlock things in the game by using city cash. City cash increases by one everytime you level up. While city coins can be earned through building rents, businesses, selling items. City coins is the currency which you need the most in the cityville for growing your city. You can also add coins and cash by purchasing them from zynga.

Energy
You will need energy to do all the tasks in cityville. It is required to harvest crops, build, collect rent and revenue from buildings and businesses respectively. In general your energy increases by 1 in every 5 minutes. You can also get energy as free gift from your neighbors or friends. The energy you get as a free gift is in your inventory which can be used at any time you need. You can also buy energy battery for city cash. Sometimes you can get energy even when you perform some task in cityville like harvest crop, collect from house or from business. Your friends can gift you +1, +2, and +3 energy batteries at a time.

Goods
In cityville you obtain goods by farming, train shipments or shipping through piers. However Shipping is available only after you are elected as mayor or your city. Goods are stored in various storage buildings like silos, red barns, Sticks and cargo sheds. Piers which are available after you become mayor of the city also has storage capacity. Goods are required to supply for your businesses in your city or your francises in yout friend’s cities.

Community building and hiring friends for the staff.
Community Buildings are an essential part of cityville game, this buildings helps
in increasing the city population limit, though each community building increases
a different number of population. The community building are unfinished until the
requirement is fulfilled. The some of the community buildings require fulfilling goals
and some require to be staffed. The staff can be your friends or you can hire a person
by paying 2 cash. Till the time requirements are not fulfilled the community building
will not result in increasing of population and will not give any return. To hire a
friend, click on the unfinished community building. Every building require a different
number of staff, after clicking on building on the screen it will show the unoccupied
positions and on the bottom a tab Hire Friends or if you don’t have the friends just
pay cash for the position. After selecting for hire friends, the screen will show four
different tabs, first my active zynga friends, second all friends, third cityville friends
and the fourth Farmville friends just like mentioned above in inviting friends for
neighbours. Select the tab you want to, and then select the friends that you want to be
the part of your community building. Complete the task by selecting send cityville
invitation and then selecting send for the pop up screen. You must also now that no
two positions of one community building can be filled by one friend but one can be a
staff of many communities building.

- According to the calculations done Emergency clinic is the best community building museum being the second best which is followed by the hospital.
- Buildings having 0 Staff members require you to collect building grants, ribbons, city seal and Marbles for finishing.
Unhappy Citizens!
Why are my citizens unhappy? What do I need to do to make them happy again?
In Cityville you need to maintain a balance between your population and community buildings. If you have less community buildings that support less population and your population increases then your citizens will become unhappy. Anyways, citizens being unhappy don’t affect your game in any way. So you don’t need to worry about them.
But to make your citizens happy again you need to build more community buildings allowing more population capacity than your original population. For example If your city has a capacity of 1000 citizens then you should have a population of 850 to 900.
